Not only was the system & the installation great , the pre & post service from the staff was excellent . They spent as much time as was needed to explain, answer questions & help with install of monitoring system . Couldn't be happier .9 months later we asked Michael: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"

We were very pleased we went with Green Energy Options to install our Solar system. We had very limited roof space to install our panels (which had to face west), so we went for the LG 320W panels (8 panels - 2.55kW) with the Enphase inverters. Aaron was very knowledgeable with the proposed system and provided technical details about the system being offered. The installation was completed in about 6 hours safely and professionally. They also had the challenge of our steep roof (34Deg), however that was not a problem. Following installation, Aaron provided all the documentation, manuals, certificates etc during a follow up meeting. We are very confident that going forward we have a company that will provide further support if we required it.

Solar Quotes website was the best and most informative I have ever experienced. Highly recommend anyone wanting solar power to read the website prior to purchase. It explains most things so well.8 months later we asked Diane: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"

Chose a local company who came recommended . This company was suggested by Solar Quotes but wasn't one on their list. The contact we dealt with (Rory) was excellent and will be an asset to the company. The installer they used seemed to be under pressure on the day and feedback to this effect has been given to the company. We found the Solar Quotes site and excellent source of information.8 months later we asked Carol: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
We have had a Summer with this system and managed to bring our bill down to a lower level.The daily info provided through Enphase has been very helpful as has their monthly overviews,I'm now waiting to have a winter and then be able to compare the bills over 12 months.Dont listen to salesmen who tell you that you won't have an electricity bill!!05 May 2016

We had advice from True Demand - engineers from Melbourne interested in renewable energies. It felt more comfortable to proceed armed with that info - but I couldn't recommend Aaron and his team at Green Energy Options highly enough for the way in which the project was carried out - and the end result is pretty cool. We had systems installed at 2 businesses - 12.5 & 14.5 KW's respectively. One of those businesses operates day time for virtually 365 days - so solar makes so much sense.

Supplier true to word. Answerd all questions clearly and supplied additional data with asking. Installation on time and thorough.Sytem size 2.5kw. Follow up after installation very timely and complete.

Aaron was extremely helpful and knowledgable and happy to explain and give extra tips. The installation was smooth and the connection to the grid came through in just over four weeks with very little effort from my end.

Great service from woe to go. Excellent knowledge and straight talking advice, no need for wheeling and dealing, and no BS. All my nagging questions were answered promptly and thoroughly. Installation was superb, very efficient and professional, despite lousy weather. And follow-up since installation (and payment) has been just as good. So glad we found them as we nearly signed with another supplier who, let's just say, was a bit of a "hard sell".

I got three quotes from Solar Quotes, the first one came within three days the other two took nearly three weeks and when they came they where gone within 5 min.
Needless to say first one got the job, run through options, costing, and layout on roof. He was here for nearly 2 1/2 hrs. I hit him with all the questions I got from Solar Quotes, he passed.
We went for a 3kW with 12 panels with micro inverters its only been on for one week the supplier was Green Energy Options.

These guys could not be more incompetent if they tried
First of all they oversold me on the amount of panels my house could hold. When I queried them how they could be so accurate with a satellite picture and a few photos they assured me it was 'really accurate'. I sent pictures from the side of the roof also and explained the pitch and angle of the roof. I agreed and signed the deal in July 2025. They then sent out an installer and promised it would be installed promptly. The installer came out and looked at the roof and said that they could only install half the number of panels due the roof pitch and positioning. The installer said that Green Options oversell panels all the time. Very frustrated straight away and feeling misled. The installer is a contractor and doesn't work for Green.The installer also said the position for the battery which was agreed with the sales person, following pictures being sent, wouldn't work due to clearance issues from the boiler nearby. The boiler was clearly in the pictures I sent. The installer then tried to push a position in the garage which would require a bollard to be placed in the garage area obstructing parking, to ensure clearance. I said that we weren't going to do that as that would be stupid to compromise the car space for a battery. He agreed and said we could sort out another suitable spot at installation and with Green in the mean time and he explained the positioning criteria. I then worked with my builder and found a suitable spot near the correct power source, with adequate clearance. Green never responded on the battery positioning and the reduced the agreed contract by half for the solar panel reduction.
The installer then told us on short notice he was coming to install everything, I queried where the battery was going and suggested a position and got no response. They dropped the panels and batteries at my house with 1 guy. He gave short notice and then needed help from my builder to unload everything as he couldn't do it himself. It seemed a but 'amateur hour' already. Then the installer turns up the next day when I am away. He insists the battery has to go where the bollard in the garage is required, with my builder on site. I'm uncontactable as on a plane to Sydney. The builder says not to put it there but to install the panels in the mean time whilst we sort out where the battery goes. The contract installer disagrees and leaves as he is busy and won't do anything unless it is all agreed up front.
I wait to hear and chase Green for what is happening. I speak to a very helpful Englishman who agrees on the battery positioning where we had suggested, from pictures and promises installation. Nothing happens for months, I call frustrated, They assure me something will be done and that they are on it but the person I was dealing with at Green has left company. The next guy says he is going to resolve it with a new installer, assures me it will be resolved, Nothing happens for another 2-3 months, I call again. The last guy i was talking to has left and another English guy is on the phone. It is starting to feel like a dodgy used car sales place with backpackers manning the phones. The new guys assures me he is going to resolve it and sends me an email that it will be resolved in 2-3 weeks. After 3 weeks of hearing nothing I call again. A different woman on the phone says they will send an installer tomorrow being Saturday. I say I won't be around but if they call me half an hour before hand I can make sure I'm at the house. They assure me they will. I get no call on Saturday. When I call them again they tell me the installer had turned up and rang the bell and as no one was home they had left! aaaaargh! Can you feel the anger and in competence of this place,. The woman now assures me someone else will come. No one calls, no one responds. I email again and am fuming. They assure me someone is coming. It is now June 2026, No one has come. You judge for yourself on the competence of this company.
