We would definitely advise against having anything to do with a different company: FREE SOLAR. We paid Free Solar $1499 on 16 April 2009.They offered in writing (which we still have) a refundable deposit. After waiting months for a quote we eventually had Craig Balmanno (owner) arrive & say "yes we can do it" Being ignored both by phone & emails for some months we tried to cancel. only to be ignored yet again. We then went to the office of Fair Trading. free solar told them (Anna Bligh has announced a cancellation fee of $1499 applies for any cancelled SOLAR HOT Water orders). We did not order Hot Water we ordered solar panels. In december 2009 we went with NICHOLLS SOLAR. They had it done in 2weeks We can not give them enough praise they were wonderful & would recommend them to anyone. Laraine.
