I am a scientist/engineer, and put $12,000 of my money into my once-in-20-years solar system. As such I was extremely interested in maximising value for money, not cutting corners, monitoring the system etc etc.
This didnt necessarily sit well with other solar companies who appeared to be more interested in doing a quick and simple install, and maybe only making $1,000 in profit.
If the person you are talking to starts to sound like a user car salesman, or e.g. wont leave a written copy of the payback period calculations, then dont trust what they say.
Also, within any medium/large organisation, there are people of different abilities, and so your experience will vary according to which particular salesman, which particular installers you deal with.
Staff at Solar Sunwerx listened to my concerns, and accommodated most of them. |
