Rebates and grants of $500 to $8000 are available according to your particular situation. These are primarily for solar heated hot water systems. To find out if you qualify then contact your local authority or the Australian Government website through the link below.<\/p>\n

In a further effort to pursue this renewable energy policy the Government has decided to invest in \u201cSolar Cities\u201d. If you live in Adelaide, Alice Springs<\/a>, Blacktown, Central Victoria, Moreland, Perth or Townsville then you will find a lot of information and advice locally from industry, businesses and your community to help you understand the benefits of changing to solar energy and the best way for you personally to do it. Just Google “solar cities [your town]”<\/p>\n

If you are interested in finding out more about how solar energy could help you reduce your bills then contact one of the companies specialising in solar energy<\/a>. Good companies will send a representative to your house to analyse your energy consumption and give you a detailed summary of how you could save money, which type of solar products are good for you and if the government would help with the cost.<\/p>\n
