The installer or retailer scans the bar codes on the panels when on-site prior to installation, and a request for validation is sent to the database. A message is then relayed back to the installer\/retailer confirming that the panels are genuine and approved, or flagging that there&#8217;s an issue.<\/p>\n<div class=\"youtube-wrapper\"><iframe title=\"Solar Panel Validation Initiative, an innovative regulatory story\" width=\"500\" height=\"281\" src=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/embed\/ga_hb6gzN1I?feature=oembed\" frameborder=\"0\" allow=\"accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture; web-share\" referrerpolicy=\"strict-origin-when-cross-origin\" allowfullscreen><\/iframe><\/div>\n<p>Participating solar panel manufacturers at this point in time are:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/panels\/canadian-solar-review.html\">Canadian Solar<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/panels\/hanwha-q-cells-review.html\">Hanwha Q Cells<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/panels\/jinko-solar-review.html\">Jinko Solar<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/panels\/lg-review.html\">LG Solar<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/panels\/renesola-review.html\">ReneSola<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/panels\/risen-review.html\">Risen Energy<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/panels\/winaico-review.html\">Winaico<\/a><\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/panels\/yingli-solar-review.html\">Yingli Solar<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The Regulator is encouraging all manufacturers and installers to get on board with the validation program. Participation in the initiative could eventually become another point of difference when <a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/installers\/choosing\/\">choosing a solar installer<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;This joint initiative is aimed at strengthening the integrity of industry and the scheme, and protecting consumers by making the identification of unapproved panels easier,&#8221; states the Regulator.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>In order for a solar power system to be eligible for Australia&#8217;s &#8220;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/panels\/rebate\/\">solar rebate<\/a>&#8220;, panels must be listed on the Clean Energy Council&#8217;s Approved Products List.
