The following figures indicate solar installations in the Northern Territory for a few months prior to and following that announcement.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>January 2020 &#8211; 275<\/li>\n<li>February 2020 &#8211; 335<\/li>\n<li>March 2020 &#8211; 296<\/li>\n<li>April 2020 \u2013 292<\/li>\n<li>May 2020 \u2013 369<\/li>\n<li>June 2020 \u2013 326<\/li>\n<li>July\u00a0 2020 \u2013 264<\/li>\n<li>August\u00a0 2020 \u2013 203<\/li>\n<li>September\u00a0 2020 \u2013 238<\/li>\n<li>October 2020 &#8211; 192<\/li>\n<li>November 2020 &#8211; 203<\/li>\n<li>December 2020 &#8211; 165<\/li>\n<li>January 2021 &#8211; 60<\/li>\n<li>February 2021 &#8211; 116<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>This information was sourced from the Clean Energy Regulator and the figures are approximations &#8211; installation numbers, particularly for the more recent months, will increase due to the way the data is collected.<\/p>\n<p>After <a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/blog\/solar-rush-nt-mb1483\/\">the initial rush<\/a> to get systems over the line for the previous FiT rate, it would seem funding batteries by cutting the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/systems\/feed-in-tariffs\/nt\/\">NT solar feed-in tariff<\/a> has resulted in a dampening effect on solar power uptake.<\/p>\n<p>In the minds of some prospective solar buyers, the feed-in tariff reduction meant installing solar panels wasn&#8217;t worth it any more.
