We\u2019ve had a National Press Club debate of sorts but the environment, climate change and renewable energy all seem well down the pecking order. <\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">This absence is tackled by David Holmes, Senior Lecturer, Communications and Media Studies, Monash University, who argues (cogently) that it is baffling that environmental issues are so low on the order of the major parties\u2019 priorities when the need for debate is so necessary.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/theconversation.com\/why-has-climate-change-disappeared-from-the-australian-election-radar-59809\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">https:\/\/theconversation.com\/why-has-climate-change-disappeared-from-the-australian-election-radar-59809<\/span><\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">And why shouldn\u2019t renewable energy such as solar and wind not be at the centre of attention?
