Ex-copper Peter Dutton has spent two decades in parliament and has taken a few shots at leadership of the Liberals, finally succeeding yesterday.<\/p>\n
On winning the top Liberal job yesterday, he said:<\/p>\n
“Under my leadership, the Liberal Party will be true to our values that have seen us win successive elections over the course of the last quarter of a century.”<\/p><\/blockquote>\n
He was also quick to attack the Albanese government, stating that electricity prices under Labor will go up. That’s correct, electricity prices will increase<\/a> – but this was already well and truly baked in under the Morrison Government. Voters in South Australia, South-East Queensland and New South Wales would have more widely known about it if the Australian Energy Regulator (AER) had released this information prior to the election; as it was originally supposed to.<\/p>\n
