Ultimately, the annual output of the site will be:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>300,000 metric tonnes of industrial silicon<\/li>\n<li>150,000 metric tonnes of high-purity polysilicon<\/li>\n<li>35GW of monosilicon<\/li>\n<li>10GW of wafers<\/li>\n<li>10GW of solar cells<\/li>\n<li>10GW of solar panels<\/li>\n<li>15GW of &#8220;auxiliaries for modules&#8221; (I&#8217;m not sure what that means).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>To be built in two phases, Phase 1 is expected to be completed by the end of next year and will\u00a0 boast annual output of 100,000 tonnes of industrial silicon, 50,000 tonnes of high-purity polysilicon, 20GW of monosilicon, 5 GW of wafers, 5GW of cells, 5GW of modules, and 7.5GW of &#8220;auxiliaries&#8221;.<\/p>\n<p>Phase 2, which will bring the facility up to its nameplate capacities, is expected to be completed by the end of 2025.<\/p>\n<h2>430W Vertex S Production Begins<\/h2>\n<p>In other recent news from the firm, last week it announced mass production of the new generation of the Trina Solar Vertex S 430W was well under way. Also rolling off the Trina Solar 210 Super Factory line in Yiwu, China is the Vertex 580W.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-63266\" src=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/vertex-super-factory.jpg\" alt=\"Vertex Superfactory\" width=\"900\" height=\"519\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/vertex-super-factory.jpg 900w, https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/vertex-super-factory-300x173.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/07\/vertex-super-factory-768x443.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px\" \/><\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8221; The estimated production capacity of the new Vertex series including upgraded Vertex S and Vertex 580W this year will reach 10GW, a figure that is expected to more than double next year,&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/www.trinasolar.com\/au\/resources\/newsroom\/aumass-production-new-generation-430w-vertex-s-begins-trina-solar-delivering\">said Trina<\/a>.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/blog\/trina-solar-vertex-mb1749\/\">Vertex S<\/a> is designed for rooftop applications, while the Vertex 580W is for ground-mount utility-scale projects.<\/p>\n<p>On a related note, back in March Trina said Australia was to be the first country in the world to have the residential rooftop-friendly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/blog\/trina-solar-vertex-s-plus-mb2391\/\"> 425W Trina Solar Vertex S+<\/a> panel available. It was due to reach our shores in April\/May this year &#8211; but I haven&#8217;t seen the modules advertised here yet.<\/p>\n<h2>Trina Solar&#8217;s Street Cred Pretty Solid<\/h2>\n<p>Trina Solar was ranked equal second for <a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/blog\/panel-cell-shipments-2021-mb2330\/\">solar panel shipments in 2021<\/a> globally.
