Here&#8217;s a look at what&#8217;s expected to be a very reasonably priced panel.<!--more--><\/p>\n<h2>Risen Energy RSM96-11-475BNDG Specifications<\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li>Power output (front face): 475 Watts<\/li>\n<li>Bifacial factor: 80\u00b1 5(%)<\/li>\n<li>Maximum module efficiency (front face): 23.8%<\/li>\n<li>Cells: 96 N-type TOPCon cells (6\u00d78+6\u00d78)<\/li>\n<li>Operating temperature: -40\u00b0C~+85\u00b0C<\/li>\n<li>Temperature coefficient of Pmax: -0.29%\/\u00b0C<\/li>\n<li>Maximum system voltage: 1500VDC<\/li>\n<li>Panel dimensions: 1762\u00d71134\u00d730mm<\/li>\n<li>Weight: 21.5 kg<\/li>\n<li>Glass thickness: 1.6mm back and front.<\/li>\n<li>Frame: anodized aluminium alloy, black<\/li>\n<li>Product warranty: 25 years<\/li>\n<li>Performance warranty: 30 years. Allows for 0.4% annual degradation for a final minimum output of 87.4% of nameplate capacity at year 30.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Risen says the panels offer excellent low-light performance and strong anti-LID (Light-Induced Degradation) and PID (Potential Induced Degradation) resistance.<\/p>\n<p>The RSM96-11-475BNDG&#8217;s Clean Energy Council certification was approved in early July, so it&#8217;s eligible for Australia&#8217;s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/panels\/rebate\/\">solar panel rebate<\/a> and grid-connection. A full datasheet <a href=\"https:\/\/risenenergy.com.au\/storage\/RSM96-11-475BNDG-IEC1500V-30mm-2025H2-1-EN-Black-frame-AU-and-NZ.pdf\">can be found here<\/a>.<\/p>\n<blockquote><p>&#8220;At this critical juncture of Australia\u2019s energy transition, Risen Energy\u2019s TOPCon modules are perfectly tailored to local needs with their compact size, high power output, and long-term durability,&#8221; says the firm.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n<p>Although not exactly &#8220;compact&#8221;, the RSM96-11-475BNDG comes in at a whisker under 2m<sup>2<\/sup>, which is what we generally consider the cut-off mark for residential solar panels. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.solarquotes.com.au\/blog\/solar-panel-installer-wishlist\/\">increasing dimensions of solar panels<\/a> over the years have been a thorn in the side for installers who have to tussle with them on rooftops, a dangerous workplace at the best of times.
