Upgrading solar system
From the time we received the quote to installation it was such an easy process. Everyone involved were friendly, informative, punctual and very tidy on site. Would definitely recommend to others.04 March 2024
Fanstastic Builder.
Will was amazing to work with for our quote. He answered all questions we had and gave good, honest advice about how best to use our money and time in regards to solar/battery installation.Installers were lovely, cleaned up well. We had some issues due to rain/wind on the install day so the install couldnt be completed in one day, but the company was great about working with me to find a time to finish the install that didn't significantly impact me or my time.
All the follow up after install has been quick and effective.

Highly Recommend
Painless and prompt quoting process. Did exactly what they said they would do in the timeframe specified. Planning and communication was excellent up to and on the instal day. Staff was knowledgeable, energetic, polite and the installation was seamless. Everything was taken care of including the grid connection. Certainly recommend this company.12 January 2024

Couldn't be happier, exceeded expectations
Everything was done efficiently, and with the utmost care. On arriving home, the place was spotlessly clean and tidy after their work.In the lead up to the job, Will was very approachable and quick to answer my many questions with helpful and experienced advice.
The customer service was wonderful from start to finish.

Fantastic Solar Installation
We recently had the team at Airlec install a solar system on our house and I cannot recommend them highly enough. They were well-priced and took the time to explain system options for our house and roof structure. They were near first to contact me and easily the first to be on site for a chat.Airlec covered all my key questions and listened well while also providing advice.
Very quickly after discussing options I received quotes and projections. All very prompt and very professional.
I received follow ups that were respectful of my time and my preferred process of decision making.
I had questions prior to my final decision and received answers in good time.
Then it just got better. Great office team and install team. Plenty of communication. Professional crew headed up with a lot of experience. They follow a process that is fine tuned to the customer and respectful of the home owner.
To top it off they gave me a premium stubby cooler to congratulate me on my entry into a sustainable future. So I cracked open a Balter and watched the last of the valuable sun rays set over the horizon.

Fabulous work and workmanship
Airlec’s crew arrived at our home at the appointed time and began working straight away. It was all installed in a day and had it not been for a power outage that occurred in the suburb - some fallen powerline we would have enjoyed solar power right there and then. Very Professional and great at explaining the system
AIRLEC Australia were very professional to deal with. I was impressed that someone came out to look at the property before giving me a quote. One quoter never laid eyes on the property but came up with a verbal quote using Google Earth.I also liked that every question I asked was answered. I never felt like they were pushing me. They waited until I had every concern addressed. I had read about solar panels and had some concerns about quality and warranties.
They used good quality solar panels with long warranties. Their quote was actually cheaper than other companies per panel installed.
When I accepted the quote, the work was completed in a single day, they installed the panels, the inverter and organised with the electrical supplier to connect me to the grid.
I would recommend them to my friends and family.

Positive experience from the start to the finished of the installation process.
After my initial consultation on the site with Will from Airlec I was confident that following his recommendations I would get a solar system which would suit my needs best and that the installation would be done by a competent crew. My subsequent experience has proved that I did not misplace my trust. The solar system was installed as agreed and in a timely manner and is performing well. The people involved in the installation were competent, pleasant to deal with and willing to answer any queries related to the project.I would advise anybody to consider Airlec first, if they are thinking about installing a solar system in the Toowoomba region. Their customer service and professionalism was exceptional.

Courteous & Punctual Installer
The company manager was very courteous & patient explaining our different installation options, including advantages, disadvantages & costs. He also responded immediately when I contacted him with additional questions Our Solar System was fully installed in one day, only 3 weeks after requesting a quote. The team of 3 installers arrived on time, They were just as courteous as their manager, & installed the system exactly as quoted. They left our premises in a tidy state & organised the grid connection within the following 2 days. A big plus for us is that Airlec Australia is based in our local area, so easily available should we have any future problems. We would not hesitate to recommend this company to our relatives & friends.19 April 2023
Excellent service and very professional
We installed a rooftop solar system through Airlec. It was a pleasure dealing with the Will, the owner of the business, who was very forthcoming with all the information we needed before making a decision. In the end, it was his professionalism that convinced us to go ahead, in spite of the fact that they were not the cheapest. Also, Will was able to show us the quality of the products he proposed, compared to some of the quotations we received. The installation went smoothly and Will's team were professional and effective. We have exactly what we wanted, and it is all working beautifully. I'd recommend this company to anyone who's considering a rooftop solar system.Panel rating: 5/5

The entire process from the onsite quote to the installation was enjoyable, professional and punctual.The system is running well and the instructions on how to use the app and readout on the inverter was accurate and well explained.

The quote / sales process was very well explained covering all aspects of the system.All my questions were answered.
The installation was performed to an excellent standard. the crew were punctual, extremely polite and professional.
The area was left in a very clean manner with all waste removed from site.
The crew leader explained how the system would be connected to the grid.

Great Installer, local business that listen
Very impressed with Airlec. From the initial contact, Airlec were professional, friendly and no pressure. Will came to our home, sat down with us and designed a system to meet our specific requirements. Installation was booked in, and the team arrived promptly the morning of install. There were a couple of minor things to tidy after the install - nothing major at all, and Will had someone there asap to correct this.I couldn't recommend Airlec more highly for your Solar or general electrical needs.

The staff from Airlec Australia were extrememly professional and offered us excellent non-biased advice on the choice of our solar system (including what size, brand and components to purchase.)The installation was quick and efficient and we were extremely happy with the whole process.

Absolutely brilliant family-owned companies - with NO subcontractors. All legit AirLec tradies!
Absolutely impressed by Will and the team. I had a number of quotes from various companies for solar - but Will was just so approachable it made the decision easy. Had a 13.3kw system installed (36 x LG panels, and SolarEdge SE10000H inverter). Installation was excellent - even on a tiled roof (and the poor lads had to battle a few rainy days which made it a stop/start process, but no one can control the weather!).Will responds very quickly to texts/calls, and he even worked with me after I wanted to tweak the layout a bit beyond the original quote - moving to 3 x MPPT strings rather than the original 2x (as we were new the house and I'd realised I have some winter vs summer early morning shading to deal with).
What most impressed me was the quality of the tradies working here on the day, no subcontractors, all were wearing AirLec shirts and were very friendly to any dumb queries I had. I honestly couldn't recommend them enough if you are in the Toowoomba region - just a great family run business with excellent tradies. They were so good in fact that now I've asked them to do our ducted aircon install.

Will was very knowledgeable about different options and getting the best value for money.The installation team were all polite and professional. They left everything looking really neat and tidy and the end results look fantastic on our house.
The office staff were really helpful throughout the whole process and nothing was too much of a hassle for them. Airlec has a great team and I'd definitely recommend them.

Solar Part 1
System purchased, not installed yet, that's several months away, this is a new house build.Airlec won the day simply by have more options, we went out looking for the "standard 6.6kw system with 5kw inverter" all the other two quotes just gave what we asked for, Airlec, spent the time going thru other options and built a system that should out perform the others by some margin, it's more expensive by about 1/3, but at 9.6kw with 8kw inverter will give better returns, and it still come in under our budget.
8 months later we asked Graeme: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
We have been in house now for 6 weeks, after a very slow build.Solar system so far is out performing my expectations,and with careful use I can see us having almost no power bills in the future. With the large system we have we can cover our usage during the day even on a cloudy day.
House is fully insulated with double the minimum requirements, so we should have little to no heating requirements in winter, only need to cover the cooling over summer.
Next step would be a battery, once the technology improves a little more.

A worthwhile endeavour
Will from Airlec was knowledgeable, polite and not pushy re the services he offered. He fully explained the solar systems. Price was right/fair, installation was quick and professional and his young staff were well mannered and hard working. My home was cleaned when they left of all work debris. A Great Experience
Will and his team were very punctual, polite and quick, they were genuinely concerned to ensure that we got the best system for our needs within our budget and kept in the loop throughout the whole design and quote phase, and were the only providers that conducted a site survey before they would quote on our system to ensure there were no "gotchas" or problems that would occur.The install went very well, they were punctual, and polite and cleaned up as they went, leaving no mess behind post install. The install itself is very neat and professional, they went the extra mile to make sure everything was as it should be. The system was commissioned and grid connected the same day.
Will took the time to explain the operation of the system and followed up to make sure everything was functioning within the design specs and was running without problems.

Fast, efficient and super-responsive service
We have a tricky build - South facing and lots of trees shading the roof, we wanted quality and had some preferences regarding sourcing panels. We were ready to go with a more expensive option but decided to get the three quotes offered through this platform. Will's was the fourth quote we got and we are so pleased that we explored further!Will could not have been more professional, he offered us a great balance of new technology (SolarEdge hybrid inverters and a Power Catch device) and quality components (LG panels) for a price that beat his opposition. We both work and were juggling the quotes at night - Will answered a lot of queries after hours which really sped up the process. The install was quick - within a week of the final quote, and the boys were polite, efficient and tidy. We were able to negotiate some tasks e.g. trenching and relocation of existing wiring and Will was later able to trouble shoot for us when it became apparent that we have local power quality issues. Very happy customers!

Was a pleasure to deal with
William, who services the areas west of Toowoomba (and I assume Toowoomba as well) rang me only hours after I asked for the 3 'solarquotes'. Great phone communication, it was friendly, informative and William gave good advise, which checked out when we did research. He visited our property and made sure everything was goo for installation. He checked the transformer across the road from us as well and then contacted Ergon about adding the 6.6kw system to our existing 2 kw system that we were sold by a shark telling us it would be plenty big enough for our needs, about 10 years ago. So we were on the look out for another shark/cowboy and I feel confident to say William from Airlec is not one of these. Unfortunately however, Ergon refused to let us add to the extra solar even though they had replaced the old 5 (kw ?) transformer for the larger 10 (kw ?) since our first solar installation, citing a problem with their technical ability to take the power to the grid. Of course, we would not have been pushing much power to the grid as our kw use per day is larger than what we would produce, but I expect they have an excuse for that. So although I am not happy that we cannot go ahead and install more solar, and Ergon have a monopoly out here, I am extremely happy to recommend Airlec Australia and William in particular to anyone in his area that could use his services. Because they were impressive in every aspect of our dealings. When or if I can put in a battery system, or our situation changes with the supplier, I will definitely call this company for a quote.
