About
Established in 2007 as Armada Solar, we are Canberra’s oldest and most established solar company. We have hundreds of commercial, community and residential solar installations in the ACT region. Our installation experience ranges from 1.5 kW residential systems to large 178 kW commercial systems.
We have qualified and experienced in-house engineers and accredited electricians to design and install solar systems. We handle all paperwork; work with your energy provider & handle the government rebates (Renewable Energy Certificates) subsidy processes for each customer. We provide solar service, maintenance, and have a general electrical business with an emphasis on energy efficiency.
In 2011 we developed our double glazing window and door range and an in-house capacity to install them. We believe Canberra should be one of the most sustainable cities in the world and we are working on a number of specific requirements needed to achieve this in our region.

Chose a local, reputable installer17 months later we asked Michael: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Yes, absolutely.Our household has managed to completely turn around our level of energy consumption with these solar panels playing a big part (as well as a solar hot water system, also organized through Amarda). We have gone from a household purchasing approximately 12,000 kWh annually, to around 3,000. With the ACT feed in tariff on this 3.04 kW system, we may never need to actually pay an electricity bill ever again!

On the plus side the installation is working well and the installed equipment is top quality.
