Excel Solar design and install on-grid residential and commercial systems. Being located in the country area they also have installed many off grid and hybrid solar PV systems.

They complete all their own works, are fully licensed and only use name brand products, with warranties on Australian Soil. Excel Solar are the licensed and trained service agents for a number of quality brands.

Excel Solar are Master Electricians.

Servicing the Toowoomba, Darling Downs and the granite belt areas.

The service including installation was brilliant

The installation was timely and executed quickly. I got what I wanted which is all you can ask for. In terms of quality and the like the system has only been up for 30 hours but I have no reason to doubt that it will perform brilliantly.

Great to go with a local after hard sell from out of town business. Totally different approach from a local company. No need to sell themselves just helped out with why bill was so high and how to save on some items. Then designed system to suit our use.

There was approximately 6 week gap between my accepting the quote and the installation. understand all suppliers are busy, but I thought this was a bit excessve. Original ratings

14 months later we asked Elizabeth: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"

Yes. All electricity accounts since installation have been in credit and recently I received my first rebate cheque.
Solar panels should be on every roof in Australia!

Excel Solar responded quickly to my request for a quote, were very professional, and took the installation through to the point that Ergon only had to put in the required meter for connection to the grid. The worst service came from Ergon Energy. We had the solar panels installed for 5 weeks before Ergon came to connect us to the electricity grid. We have just recieved our first electricity bill since installation, and there is a dramatic difference. I notice though, that Ergon are taking advantage of the fact that we recieve our farm electricity on the same bill. Although the panels are installed on the domestic supply, Ergon are taking our domestic usage as well as our farm usage off the total that we input into the grid. I feel that this is a bit unfair considering the investment we have made.

They had installed the wrong size system by mistake; were most apologetic. They remedied the problem with a larger inverter & 70 watts more power output than quoted at no extra cost. Problem professionally handled with a happy client at the end of it all.
