Top quality installation and excellent after sales support
We have large roof areas and we were able to accommodate 6.6kw each on both north and west facing roofs. The quoting process was trouble-free. The installation was very professional with top-quality components used. We requested to finish the job in 1 day if it was possible, so they sent a team of 4 on the installation day, they were very tidy and cleaned up the area after the installation was completed. Grandsolar was very professional and patient, they were available all the time to answer any of our queries. Furthermore, they were monitoring our solar outputs and noticed a solar string wasn't producing as much electricity as it should, especially it was north facing one. They booked the time with us and came out to check the panels and rectified the issue straight away. I am super happy with Grandsolar's service and my solar investment.Panel rating: 5/5

Very dedicated team, always asking approval prior to any changes. Constant inspection of each other's work minimised any errors (none to my knowledge).The guys were polite and respectful, they cleaned up each day and kept us informed all the way through the installation process.
8 months later we asked Michael: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"

I had in my mind what I wanted, and asked to be quoted specifically on that. One of the three companies couldn't even manage that, clearly not reading my emails when I requested a specific model inverter and panels.
I would definitely give SolarQuotes another go if I installed or upgraded in the future, but only if different companies were recommended to me. I am not sure how the algorythm works or if it's just totally random, but for all of the solar companies around me, the 3 that were recommended turned out to be not the ones I would have been happy doing business with.
The sales/quoting process was professional. I needed some extra re-cabling work done in the meter box, which one of the other 3 companies had included in their quotes. They only said "this might change on the day and you could end up paying more". The company I went with had a look and included it in the quote. I also got Sungrow consumption monitoring, which is fantastic. The installation was smooth, installer on time and did a thorough job.
Customer service is great, I had some issues with my inverter shutting down regularly after installation, it would literally be off between 10am-4pm due to overvoltage in the grid. On the installer's advice, I contacted Western Power who did some testing and then arranged some urgent fault works to get me moved onto a different power circuit on the pole out the front of my house. This all took a week to be fixed, and since then my C phase voltage is no longer peaking at 257v during the day, and mostly sticks below 250v.
