These guys take pride in their work
Great Company to deal with. Luke was able to come do an assessment and have a chat within a few days of our first conversation. Luke is a down to earth, no-nonsense guy, evidently passionate about what he does and doesn't try to push a sale. We got quotes from 6 other companies but after having a chat with Luke, I just felt comfortable and confident that they would deliver a quality system with a quality installation. The whole process was painless, Luke was happy to answer any questions promptly and communication was great. On the day of the installation the 3 man team arrived on time, were very polite, and just got stuck in. The installers were a bunch or really nice guys, really decent and very hard working yet still keen for a chat.The team conducted the work in a very safe manner, by installing safety rails around the work area before starting the job. They did a thorough assessment of our roof before starting the installation and found a couple of potential leaks, which led me to arranging a roof assessment for a few days later. Before starting the installation, the guys went out of their way to assist and subsequently replaced approx. 30 roof tiles for us and also made sure that all tiles around the location of the solar panels were all in good condition. The installation was extremely neat and tidy and the guys left our place spotless. We are very happy with the service we have received from Green Volt and highly recommend them. Great to deal with decent guys that are down to earth and take pride in their work.

Nothing was too much trouble
I contacted Luke-GreenVolt Solar in May 2022, along with nuymerous other installers. He came and we discussed what I wanted,not what he could sell me. Luke was knowledgeable, patient and pragmatic.After wandering down a rabbit hole (thanks SolarQuotes haha), and exploring many options (REC Alpha pure/.Enphase, etc.etc.) Luke, patiently offered quite a number of quotes. The system that was installed satisfied all of my goals. I was confident GreenVolt was the right choice from the outset.
I also had the consumer mains upgraded and a new power box installed.
The installation was fantastic, Darren, young Luke and Aaron were some of the best tradies I have encountered. My place was left spotless, the team was punctual. Luke organised everything, including a very good Level 2 elec, who was professional/punctual and tidy, putting it all together, including the smart meter. Luke put the panels online, installing a Fronius consumption meter and took me through the Solarweb process.
Green Volt has ticked all the boxes for me, not least of which was an immaculate installation.

Highly recommended
We highly recommend Green Volt. Luke, owner and CEO, recommended a simpler string system which enabled us to purchase a larger system for a competitive price. Micro-inverters, recommended by others, were unnecessary in our situation because we don't have shading problems.We particularly appreciated:
- that the person who quoted and designed the system also installed it
- clear communication and prompt responses to contacts and questions
- the quality of the workmanship
- on time every time and cleaned up afterward
We are incredibly pleased with the amount of power generated, even on overcast days.
We have no hesitation in recommending Luke and Green Volt to design, supply and install your solar PV system.

Well organised installation
Luke came to our house and answered all our questions and laid out our options in an informative mannerHe assisted us in obtaining a reliable plumber to replace our aging hot water system and coordinated the staged installation process with them
The solar system installers managed to get the inverter and roof panels installed and connected up in a day despite some fairly poor weather conditions

Highly Recommend Green Volt Solar.
Luke took the time to answer all my questions and quoted me on multiple systems. Other installers only gave me one "solution".Luke was the only installer to consider our usage pattern and designed the layout to provide most solar generation in the afternoon when our consumption is highest - giving us the greatest financial benefit.
Luke was the only installer to use real-life numbers (solar generation and self-consumption profile) to calculate the savings from our system. Other installers used questionable assumptions that calculated a higher savings that may not be achieved in real life.
The Green Volt Solar Installation Team did a great job taking care to complete a professional installation and leaving no mess.
We are very happy we made the right decision to go with Green Volt Solar.
8 months later we asked Kelvin: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
The system continues to meet/exceed my expectations - weather permitting -:)

Highly recommended. Excellent all round.
The moment I spoke to Luke I knew I had the right company. His knowledge and excellent customer service shone throughout the whole process. He took the time to talk to me about options and educated me along the way (property with a lots of shade in winter) All this before he even came out to quote me! From the quote to installation was 3 weeks. Installation was smooth and very professional. He even gave my neighbour a quote! I couldn’t be happier with Green Volt Solar. Fantastic service, quality and knowledge, stood out from the competition
Luke was knowledgeable, friendly and provided exceptional advice. The installation was done in a timely manner to a high standard and with all care taken.Compared to other solar installers who just wanted to bag out the competition or sell a standard package, Luke was absolutely amazing. He provided multiple choices, explained the benefits of each and provided heaps of information so that an informed decision could be made.
Sadly it seems there are many cowboys in the area who still focus on sales and getting a commission rather than trying to help customers make the right decision, so I can highly recommend Luke and Green Volt Solar as a company who go above and beyond to get things right first time and make sure everything runs perfectly.

Excellent and easy process.
Luke and the Green Volt team performed an amazing job from start to finish.Within 24 hours of requesting a quote, Luke was in touch to arrange an on-site visit. Upon his visit, Luke shared with us a preliminary design that took into account our energy requirements, options to help mitigate morning shading, as well as my desire to balance system size against housing aesthetics.
Quotes were provided later that evening. I took my time to consider my options and later that week I emailed Luke some questions and a minor change to one of the quotes, which he promptly answered and actioned.
After accepting a quote, the install was arranged to occur in just over a fortnight, which was quicker than anticipated. On installation day the crew was led by Darren, who arrived right on time in the morning. His crew had a large focus on safety and were professional and tidy the entire time they were on-site.
All in all I'm very happy with the result and I would not hesitate to recommend Green Volt to anybody in the Newcastle area looking for solar.

Great Installation, Very Satisfied!
Throughout the whole process Luke from GreenVolt was happy to answer any questions and put my mind at ease. Installation occurred sooner than the original time frame, and was complete within 2 days. I went with a dual inverter system and he did a great job installing them in a nice and tidy layout.I've contacted Luke a few times since isntall and he has been more than happy to help me out where needed. I've had the system for a few months now and am very happy with it. I'll definitely be recommending GreenVolt to anyone I talk to about solar.

One point of contact throughout
From initial inquiries to final commissioning, Luke from Green Volt Solar was the only person I had to deal with from his company and throughout the process he was professional, responsive and thorough in all aspects of sales, installation and customer service.Sales and Quoting process was hassle free, Luke was happy to provide a system that I had kind of decided on through doing my own research instead of pushing a particular system on me, Installation was completed in such a manner that you could assume they were installing the system on their own roof, always tidy and punctual.
I would highly recommend Luke and his company Green Volt Pty Ltd to any person considering a solar installation.

Professional Installation - Great Customer Service!
From initial inquiries, a thorough on site inspection including a detailed "shade analysis report" to final installation, Luke from Green Volt Solar was very professional and thorough. His knowledge, honesty and experience were obvious throughout the entire process and he was always prompt in answering the many questions that I posed to him in relation to the solar installation. He ensured that all aspects of the installation were completed to my utmost satisfaction including organising the NET meter and final connection to the grid. Six months down the track and I have not had to pay for any electricity accounts and am in credit. Complete professional from beginning to end
At the first point of contact I gained confidence in my decision to move towards solar and with Green Volt.The level of communication and professionalism was clearly a winner.
Solar isn’t something I’m knowledgeable about but I found Luke able to explain things to me in a way that was easily understood. I appreciated his concern for his staff in advising he would be getting a safety rail installed for the panel installation. To me, this is an obvious stand out as if he didn’t care about his staff he wasn’t going to care about my recently renovated house. I’m happy to say all care was taken every step of the way, for their safety and for the care of my property.
The communication was fantastic and professional. The actual installation was efficient and problem free.
I didn’t have to worry about anything like dealing with the electrical supplier. They did it. The bill which I’ve just received has proven it was a good decision.
I’ve gone from $800-$900 bills to one for $240!

Greenvolt provided a great product.
We were recommended Luke from Greenvolt by a friend. They suggested he was easy to deal with, provided good simple technical advice and provided a prompt, tidy installation. We would support these comments.Luke turned up to provide a quote promptly and provided good advice on what system would suit us best and why. He installed our solar panels yesterday which was comfortably within the time frame offered when we accepted his quote.
In designing our system we had a potential problem with the existing wiring in the shed that was either ignored by others or had them not offering a quote. Luke did the homework to prove there would not be a problem and the panel output shows he was right.
He is not the cheapest, but we chose the LG panels based on performance and warranty, and you only get what you pay for. The Greenvolt installers were polite and did not leave any mess. Luke was here for parts of the day to ensure the installation completed as we discussed.

Sexy Solar Panels, Sensational service, Smashing Price!!
Luke and the team at Green Volt were A-Class! From the very moment I began discussions with Luke regarding our electricity requirements for our new house, I quickly knew that we were in great (and very knowledgeable) hands.We did a comprehensive review of our current vs future expected consumption and ensured we had all the future proofing in place.
I feel like I have acquired so much knowledge about how solar all works, and am now comfortable with all the solar buzz words like "tarif", "feed in", "rebate", even "STC"... All thanks to Luke's kind patience and knack for explaining and simplifying the entire process.
Our panels look amazing perched on the North West side of our roof, and very sexy too with a beautiful horizontal layout.
I did all the research I think possible before talking to anyone, and got plenty of quotes!! (just ask my facebook feed)...
Honestly, just go to Green Volt, they'll give you the best product and service from the first point of contact and everything will be taken care of, to give you full confidence in your system and where your money is "invested".

Integrity Plus!
Luke made the process easy. He turned up at the organised time, actually got on the roof and definitely has an excellent depth of knowledge. The safety equipment was installed a couple of days before and Luke and Paul turned up punctually to install. Both the guys were polite and friendly...and Paul even had a good singing voice! It was a breath of fresh air to have polite, friendly, and happy people who are obviously highly competent. Luke sent through all the documentation straight after and gave me a quick and easy lesson on how to use the app. We wouldn't hesitate to highly recommend Green Volt to anyone wishing to install a quality LG system. Efficient and organised!
Luke was fantastic! He met with us within a week of me contacting him and installation happened just over a week later. Me being clueless about the whole solar industry, he was happy to answer all of my questions whether it by email or text message and always got back to me quickly. Great experience from start to finish
From the start Luke answered all my dumb questions and provided me with a range of options over many price points and listed the pros/cons of each choice with allowed us to make and informed decision on the three quotes of three different systems we were considering.Installation was non-evasive and all taken care of by Green Volt from start to finish.

Great solar PV installation
Luke provided meaningful information about the many possible choices which enabled me to make a decision that best suited my needs. His advice was constructive and never pushy. Luke was happy to provide quotes on a variety of options I presented him with. He was happy to work around some difficult constraints I placed regarding installation date. Top block, top notch work
Luke was friendly and professional from start to finish. Very positive experience
Luke was fantastic in all aspects of his work. He contacted me on the Sunday of the Easter Long Weekend (less than 12 hrs after I lodged the enquiry). We had the quote the same day.He was not your typical pushy salesman, he was a quality trade with a great team to support him. He turned up on time each day, cleaned up his mess as they went and were very respectful.
I deal with tradesmen day in day out in my career and its rare that you receive this service.
We had a "not so usual" roof to deal with and he did everything he could to get it done and went out of his way to make the experience a good one! Don't look past Luke and his team. You won't be disappointed.

Top notch solar experience
From start to finish Luke and his team have been very professional - Quote was explained to last detail ,we said what we wanted and Luke explained what we needed - the system went up over two days as weather intervened and then SOLAR we have a 10.5 kw system that should keep us going till the sun doesn't shine .Luke's team left our home clean and tidy and any phone calls i made in the initial Quoting was answered to my complete satisfaction.

Honest and reliable local installer
Luke and his company Green Volt Solar were the standout of the seven quotes we obtained to put solar on our roof. From initial contact, in-home consult, installation and commissioning of the system Luke led the process, turned up when he said he would and was prompt in responding to questions and queries.Luke was happy to make recommendations but also listened to our thoughts and ideas for the design of the system. Unlike some of the other companies, he was not biased in opinion of or pushing certain brands/products and there was no hard sell. The quote he provided was professional, detailed and competitive.
On installation day it was clear Luke had the respect of his team. They were polite, friendly and the installation was completed efficiently to a high standard and attention to detail. They all cleaned up and left the property like it was their own.
We feel that we have been left with an experience that is the perfect blend of customer service, workmanship, quality components and cost. Thankyou Luke and team!

Excellent, Knowledgeable installer with Top Quality solar system
We researched solar and obtained a few quotes of which Luke at Green Volt was one of them. He was very genuine, extremely knowledgeable and always available to answer our queries (of which we had plenty!). We had read very good reviews about Green Volt and are extremely happy we went ahead with their quote. We were also very happy to find Luke was the person we dealt with from start to finish, from the quote through to the install and follow-ups.We requested a high-end system and were happy to see alot of his previous installs were with high-end, reliable products.
The time between the quote and installation was very quick and the installation itself was very smooth.
We would highly recommend Green Volt as a Solar Installer, we are extremely happy with Luke and his team!

Professional, Knowledgeable, Neat Northern "Sea of solar" Install
After undertaking extensive research for our solar system, what brands and installers that would meet the needs for our current and future energy requirements, we chose Green Volt to order and install our solar system. There was no questioning the decision. Luke from Green Volt proposed a quote and was more than happy to answer any questions I had in regards to the install, operation and electrical supply company requirements. Luke also confirmed our selection of 13.3kW of LG Neon 2 panels with a Fronius Symo 10 inverter was a great choice for our purpose. An added benefit of this system was the install of a Fronius Smart meter, which keeps an eye on the system in real time of the usage and power generated from the panels. Plus a 10 year Fronius Symo warranty and 25 year warranty for the LG Neon 2 Panels was a great offering. On install day Luke and the team at Green Volt arrived right on time to commence the install. The guys did an amazing job, neat and tidy install in a professional and safe manner.We would not hesitate to recommend Green Volt to anyone looking for a professional and polite team, super competitive rates, no pressure on how small or large of a system to install and a high level of accurate communication before, during and after the install. We are looking forward to many years of solar savings to come.

Good operator. Well recommended.
Luke was highly recommended to me by a friend that was an engineer that had used him to install two previous systems. Luke was prompt and punctual to perform the quote. He was able to give sound advice by finding out what our needs and goals were. He provided quality panels and inverter systems to choose from. His installation was punctual and we were well informed ahead of time. I am happy with how the installation looks and went.After recently building a new house i have dealt with a few tradesmen of late. Some have no idea of customer service and communication with customers. Luke is not one of these poor communicators, he is quite the opposite. I would happily recommend Luke to others and would use him for any future installations.

Very efficient and helpful
Luke was very easy to work with... he was punctual, friendly and quick to reply to any messages. The quoting and installation process was very quick and efficient ...especially since it was over the Christmas/New Year period. Professional solar installation
Green Volt quoted on return, answered all questions we asked quickly, we choose them from several other quotes, on day of installation a Saturday Luke and his team arrived on time 7 50 am and promptly set about task in hand very professional they completed the sola installation and electrics, very satisfactory, they cleaned up removing all debrie, Luke showed me the workmanship and explained the working of inverter and systems . We are very impressed by there work, we thoroughly recommend Green Volt 9.6 out of 10, we now have a great solar system and some new toys by Solar Edge to monitor system on computor and phone, we are not easily impressed but Luke and his team exceeded all our expectations, totally satisfactory. Great Outcome - Honest, polite, on-time and very knowledgeable installer
I have recently installed a 7.3 kw LG panel system with enphase micro inverters from Luke. I requested a shade analysis from him approximately 12 months ago. He arrived 8am Saturday morning, and promptly advised it wouldn't be worth the $200 charge to complete as there were a number of tall trees very close to the house. Right here he could have taken my $200 as I had requested he complete this task. Fast forward 12 months after removing some of these trees for safety and fire reasons and I asked Luke to take another look. Pricing was fair, a shade tool was used to determine the optimum system layout and type and a professional and courteous installation was completed. Would recommend Luke to anyone looking for a solar system.Panel rating: 5/5

Converted us to solar
Green Volt were exceptional throughout the entire process.From Luke’s first visit to quote, he took the time to listen to our questions, was never pushy with regards to up-selling and was extremely knowledgeable across all aspects of our new system.
He has just installed out 10kW SolarEdge inverter with 13.2kW of LG solar panels all with optimisers.
His installation team were punctual, polite and respectful throughout the process and were happy to answer questions as they worked.
The job was completed on time with all rubbish removed from the site.
This included grid connection with AusGrid and advice re meter upgrades for solar required to be done by our electricity provider.
Have to say, regularly generating over 80kWh of power a day is better than I expected.
I would highly recommend the customer service provided by Green Volt to anyone in the Hunter Valley that is even remotely considering solar as an option.
We are so glad we called Luke at Green Volt for all our solar needs.

Epic install!
Luke was extremely professional in his communication and prompt in turning up when advising he would.The system was installed and completely connected to grid within 2 days and seeing massive return already.

Superior service, products and value.
I called Green Volt a couple of months after receiving quotes from 4 other companies.The other quotes had left me feeling quite confused and with no confidence to make a decision and move forward with my plans to install solar.
I had done my research and knew what I wanted.
I heard about Green Volt through other happy customers and called to get a quote.
From first contact, Luke was friendly and polite and I was impressed with his passion for solar.
Luke attended my property to do the quote and I was happy to find out that he would also be doing the installation with his team. This made sense as he could preempt any problems that may occur with the installation, something that the other companies didn’t offer.
Luke factored in the replacement of the old switch board and had the latest LG panels which none of the other companies were offering.
He also suggested racking for the panels on the deck roof to optimise their production, something that none of the other quotes had included.
After Luke’s visit to my home, the quote arrived promptly and was by far the best value, with options for finance and lots of extra information about the solar products I would be purchasing.
I didn’t feel pressured in any way and was happy to proceed with the install which took place promptly and seamlessly.
The whole system looks fantastic and the monitoring via the SolarEdge App is amazing and addictive!! Helping the environment and saving money! Win win!

No BS, very high quality workmanship, no fuss.
Absolutely satisfied with our 12kw installation - we wanted the best panels available at the time with individual micro inverters and to also maximise the number of panels in the space we had. Luke & Green Volt nailed it. We had 4 different quotes - GV answered any & every question we had, backed by figures etc & no question was too simple. One of the key things for us was for the person quoting the job understood clearly all installation aspects - avoiding a salesperson price only to run into problems come installation time. GV worked with us to give us what we wanted yet advised us on what would be best & in the end gave us a highly competent & safe installation, with excellent after-sales service… above all else - it smashed our power bill!
