Partners in Energy have combined a perfect mix of long standing Energy Industry experience with technology focused, enthusiastic Solar and Electrical Tradesmen, Apprentices and Roofers. We're not just Solar Installers, we're energy efficiency experts.
We only use quality products, and we fully explain the merits of these products when we talk with you in the pre-install process. We don't employ salespeople, and the company owner or one one of our Electricians/Solar professionals (who will install your system) will come to your home to make sure your purchase is fit for purpose and your future savings are optimised.
As the next generation of energy saving products arrive; such as battery storage and Electric Vehicle charging outlets, we'll be your 'partner' in getting these installed for you also.In addition we're a Level 2 Accredited Service provider; so if you require a switchboard replacement, or mains upgrade as part of your solar or battery installation then we can take car of this work for you also.
Put simply: we know our stuff, install great products, and take pride in our work.

Easy to deal with great result.
Sales and quoting process was easy as Toby lives locally and despite lockdown was able to come here and visit the site. We went through a couple alternative and finally settled on a system that seems to be working well. The installation went well the crew were punctual and polite the installation was tidy and looks good. Unfortunately a cracked panel delayed commissioning for a week but there was no hassel. The paper work for the grid connection was done and the upgraded meter will be installed next week.8 months later we asked Roger: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Yes it has exceeded my expectations despite a very rainy year. We should have added more panels and may still do so to take the system from 4.6 kw to perhaps 6kw.

Excellent work from Partners in Energy - highly recommended
Quoting was v.good - flexible approach. Refined the offer in response to discussions.Installation excellent - v.competent, professional, good communication, tidy.
Installation only just completed, but they've offered to help organise the grid connection to AGL.
9 months later we asked Bill: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Yes - seems very reliable. We are largely (though not completely) independent of the grid and generate enough power through panels and battery for our needs. Next time might choose a slightly larger battery.06 October 2021
Simply the best, better than all the rest!
Toby and his team at Partners in Energy were simply the best choice from all the companies we contacted through solar quotes.There was no "sales" just a consultative approach that led us to the best system for us within our budget. Toby is a level 2 electrician so knows what he is talking about, and is not a salesperson for a faceless organisation.
The installation was without issue and the team were attentive and explained everything as they went. They were tidy, punctual and polite.
We would 100% recommend using Toby and his team at Partners in Energy! They are brilliant.

Excellent company and product
We were very confused about solar and had asked 3 companies to quote. Partners In Energy were the most efficient, friendly and professional. Explained everything and made the process less painful. Very competitive price and we appreciated the onsite visit (which the others didn't do).Installation went according to plan and they were extremely polite and tidy. Any problems were dealt with straight away to our complete satisfaction. Even organising all the paperwork etc for setting up the smart meter with our electricity company.
We would recommend Toby and his team to everyone.

Very happy
Selecting a solar solution is not something you do every day so i was very happy with the level of engagement and advice that i received. The final solution we ended up going with took about 3 iterations as i became more educated and the Partners in Energy team answered questions around the solution.I have just had the installation completed for the solar panels and am waiting on the battery element to be delivered. The installation team were very professional and completed the task over two full days.
We are up and running and happy we're finally contributing to the solar electricity generation network.
I would strongly recommend Partners in Energy and have done so already to my family and friends.

Thoroughly recommended
Toby and his team are a great team of professionals to work with, and helped us at every part of the process:1 Quotation - Toby worked with us to understand our needs and which panels/inverters we needed and gave valuable feedback on their experiences 2) Installation - very flexible in timing of when to install. On the day they were prompt and quick to install and help minimise disturbances while whey went about their work. While they were up on the roof, the guys even fixed a cracked tile that was causing roof leakage, so we are very grateful 3) Follow up service was great, coming back to ensure everything was correct and working well with the electricity supplier.
Without a doubt, I would thoroughly recommend Partners In Energy for solar installation. Top notch 5 star service.

Fantastic System and a great team !
Very satisfied with the service we received from Toby and the team. They checked in on the system so it was running at optimal performance. Our last power bill was $13. Our house is very heavy on electricity with a commercial kitchen, spa and ducted air. Very happy with the results !Panel rating: 5/5

Partners in Solar that you can trust
Right from the start, the team were great! The first ones to respond and actually came to our place to provide a quote.There were cheaper quotes provided by others, but all over the phone or email.
Toby and his team provided that personal touch and confidence that they would be doing the install and not outsourced to others.
On the day they arrived on time, when they said they would and were very friendly and polite.
Job took most of the day and there was no sense that were going to rush through it.
They cleaned up everything afterwards and explained how the system and monitoring works.
Even were happy to fix a few things up for us, whilst they were up there on the roof (free of charge).
Also entertained questions and last minute requests to come back (after the install) with re-wiring our Solar Analytics monitoring system and also without any additional charges.
If you want that peace of mind of buying a quality system and installed by people that you can trust, then we highly recommend Toby and his team as your Partner in Solar.

Professional crew, great experience
From our first meeting on site Toby provided clear information about the products and process of rooftop solar and gave us the confidence to go ahead. We were also happy that Partners in Energy is a local supplier. The initial quote was adjusted to suit our needs and there were no hidden extras which was pleasing. The installation team were prompt, polite and very tidy and it was all done in one day. Professional and Quality from consult to installation.
From the initial contact (via Solarquotes referal) through the consult and installations periods - Toby and his team have offered the utmost high quality service and professionalism.Even through the torrential weather that occurred during the scheduled install dates - the team was bang on time and worked with high efficiency and didn't skip a beat to do the maximum job they could given the circumstances to minimise any potential delays - it was like clock work. The follow up visit after the panel installation to recheck the system and polish up around the edges - on places we could not see from ground level such as the rails - to ensure a top quality job was also highly appreciated.
The system a 10kw SolarEdge (SE10000H), with 11.7kw Hyundai Black panels (HIE-S390VG) in a east/west configuration with consumption monitoring - so far so good.
The price of the project was very competitive. We are happy with the system performance and can't wait to see how the system goes during the summer months and hope it continues this way for the next 25-30 years.
I look forward to a long relationship with Toby, Jamie and the team as we further develop our solar system to one day include more panels to push the inverter limits, installing a battery systems and potentially car charging.

Excellent experience and now can't checking what the panels are doing!
First of my three quotes (Thank you Solarquotes) to come onsite and see for themselves what was involved. I went with the Hyundai black panels (25yrs), black rails, SMA inverter and power meter and 10yr extended warranty.Installers were great and they did a quick job. Installed the rails in the afternoon and then came back next morning to do the panels and inverter. I was live early afternoon.
The initial plan was to have all the panels on the same side of the roof but that wasn't achievable when they measured so they adjusted the design to suit. It matched the same design as the other quotes so no surprises. It would have been nice to have everything on the same side of the roof which is why I chose them to begin with. When I saw the final setup on the roof, I'm glad I went with the Hyundai black, doesn't stick out like other roofs with blue/silver panels. I also have dark grey roof tiles so makes it look professional.
They setup the web monitoring in the afternoon and I could see what the panels were doing. I recommend paying extra for the smart meter to see what your feeding back to the grid. I'm now watching every day what I'm producing, how much I'm using and pushing the household to use high power device during the day when the sun is out - aircon, washing machine, dishwasher...
I had to call AGL to organise the grid connection but that was simple - they charge $20 to do remote upgrade, $165 if they have to send someone out as I already had a smart meter. The feed in tariff is pretty disappointing but better than nothing. Changing usage habits will yield greater returns. I'm look to reduce bill considerably as I'm on time usage and peak rates are killing me.
I'm with GIO Insurance so they automatically cover you for solar panels without you having to do anything.

Toby attended site on time and measured up our available roof space, reviewed our bills and provided recommendations and discussed various options in a knowledgeable and non-presured sales way.His team installed the system including battery on time, professionally and cleaned up after themselves.
Rounding out the experiance I was taking through an orientation of the system and the monitoring App with all my questions answered.
Would highly recommend Partners In Energy to anyone looking at getting Solar.
