Highly recommended.

Great before and after install contact through online chat group with the whole team involved (COO, install team, connections etc) keeping us up to date with install details and any questions we had. Had to reschedule due to inclement weather, but was communicated well and managed to fit us in the following week. Awsome install crew, very friendly and efficient. Neat and tidy work and clean up afterwards was great.

Absolutely terrific Installation and Service from the RenewCo Solar Team

The Team from RenewCo Solar have just left after installing a substantial solar system with batteries and ev charger - 56 panels ; 3 Tesla Powerwall batteries and an Tesla EV Charger all completed in less than two days from scratch. They arrived ahead of the original scheduled date (with plenty of notice) ; on time (in fact early) and were polite , professional and extremely competent. The system is now up and running and we are “off the grid”! We could not be happier with RenewCo Solar from the quoting , competitiveness and delivery of exactly what the promised , a superb Solar and Battery System.

Fantastic installer.

Sales/ quoting process was straight to the point. Quoted me on 2 size systems.
They were polite and right on time. Cleaned up all rubbish. Got rained out midday way through the install but come back a couple of days later when the weather cleared.
Customer service was great, and they organised the grid connection.

Everything was handled professionally, from the moment we received a quote, through to the installation.

Amazing installer. Great team, did amazing job with installation.

RenewCo Solar Delivers Exceptional Performance for Challenging Rooftops

RenewCo Solar, led by Matthew and his dedicated team, proved to be the perfect choice for our challenging roof. With its multiple orientations and small surface areas, our roof required a custom solution. RenewCo delivered with a system comprising REC Solar panels, a SolarEdge Inverter with power optimizers, and a Tesla battery and EV charger.

Thanks to their expertise, we are nearly 100% self-sufficient, even powering our EV. Communication was effortless via a WhatsApp group, even post-installation. Notably, RenewCo was one of the few willing to tackle our steep 40-degree pitch.

Excellent Service

The RenewCo Solar team visited in person to assess the site, gave a numberof options which were well-explained, set up a WhatsApp group to communicate, gave us an installation date and stuck to it. Installation was done in a day with only a single broken tile which they promptly replaced a couple of days later. Everyone on the team was polite and helpful. Grid connection was seamless. Aftercare follow-up has been excellent and the system has been working well. Would happily recommend them.

Professional service and high quality installation

My experience with RenewCo Solar has been a very good one. The team provide a professional approach and are focused on customer service. This is from the back office through to field team members. They choose to install reputable high performance products that provide a long reliable service. Communication through WhatsApp group was very convenient and allowed quick interaction across the team members and myself providing answers or updates on various things happening along the way. The 8.8kw system was installed in less than a day in very trying hot conditions. Also I had optimisers fitted to each of the 21 panels due to tree shading issues. Grid connection was organised by RenewCo. Following installation an issue did arise with the Solaredge metering application. RenewCo went to work immediately to resolve it and also involving the SolarEdge technical team. Happily all fixed within 2 weeks and I was kept informed all the way. I would highly recommend RenewCo Solar if you are looking to install a solar system.

Great installer and great result!

Matthew and the team were very professional and helpful. From the quoting which involved a number of face to face meetings and a number of options and solutions, Matthew developed a tailored, fully integrated Solar System, including a battery and EV charger. The installation team were great and very efficient and all the follow up has been reassuring. We are very happy with the result, the quality of the products, the suggested energy supplier and the energy credits we are currently receiving! We have already recommended RenewCo Solar to a number of other people.

Hassle free installation

From quoting to installation Renew Solar have been extremely helpful and professional. They did the installation on time and all the tradies were very friendly and easy to deal with. They had our ballast system and panels up and running in 2 days. The whole team communicated through WhatsApp which made it super easy. The instal is very neat and tidy.

Totally Satisfied

The quotation from Matthew was not "attractive" to say the least. However, after doing some research, I was happy that they had included everything needed for a good system. I was especially impressed that they specified a 6kw inverter for my 6.3kw system, although all the other installers only suggested a 5kw inverter as that was the norm. It may sound silly but I really like it.

Matthew was very prompt and helpful as well as all the installation guys and electricians (as I need to upgrade my old switch box) working with him. The whole process is smooth and on time schedule, although December was the busiest month. No surprises. I am totally satisfied.

Thank you RenewCo Solar!

Excellent service! Having a solar system installed felt like it could be tricky as I live in a small strata complex with a narrow, twisty driveway and a communal meter cupboard with little free space. RenewCo Solar was the only company contacted for quotes who made the effort to visit, have a chat and see the situation. As a result, I had confidence that they would do a good job. I was right, the installation went perfectly, the installers were very professional, no mess, very efficient and on time from start to finish.

RenewCo Solar also organised the grid connection, the new smart meter was exactly the right size to replace the old one in the communal cupboard. The installation of the inverter in my garage was very neatly done and in the exact place that I requested.

I was kept updated through the whole process and received my first electricity bill today for $0.00!

Smart, ethical and did a great job

RenewCo are not the cheapest but they are the best. The reason they are not the cheapest is that they refuse to use brands manufactured in Western China in forced labour camps by the Uyghur people.

Great end to end installation

Sales/quote process was fast and efficient and included a site visit. The installation team showed up exactly when expected and completed the job that day. Installation looks great and has performed exactly as was advised by the team. Great installer to work with!

Good, factual quoting process with good communication. They adjusted the system to suit my needs with no extra cost.
The installation team was extremely punctual (drove in at 7am!) and were very friendly and polite and efficient. Unfortunately, as an 80 yr old I didn't climb up the ladder to check the work until they had finished, and when I pointed out that 2 panels on the side did not leave enough room for this old man to walk by safely, they immediately agreed to move the panels to accommodate my safety. That's what I call great service.
Customer service and after sales service is extremely good with a Whatsapp system so that the communications between us continues. This helps with follow-up on the grid connection, inverter issues, etc.
This is my 2nd solar connection in 5 years, and I am very happy to recommend RenewCo Solar as one of the most reliable installers around!

I could not recommend RenewCo more highly

I am an electrical engineer living in a home supplied by both gas and electricity. For years I have been looking at the economics of going solar. In late 2023, the rising cost of gas, the opportunity to electrify key appliances and the ability to offset rising electricity bills made for a compelling plan.

We received a number of quotes from reputable companies, but the visit from RenewCo’s Matt made our decision. As an electrician, he was able to scope out the the job and answer all questions in a pragmatic and logical way.

His company followed through on all commitments. We received a number of quotes with pros and cons and were able to choose a solution that fit. The communication was excellent and the team on the day were excellent.

I have already recommended the team to my friends and colleagues.

Trustworthy Installer

I met Matthew from RenewCo Solar after a horror experience with a previous installer, who chose to walk off the job and leave us with damage simply because our roof type was too difficult. From beginning to end Matthew was with us guiding us through through the solar process, his highly skilled staff fitted a sleek 13kw solar system on our roof with ease and no damage to roof tiles, rectified previous installer damage, helps us find the best solar feed in credits and persisted with setting up our inverter to the app even when wifii was too hard to connect. We couldnt be any more happier! There is enough stars to rate how fantastic this company is !! Thank you !!

Fantastic experience throughout

We got our PV system along with EV charger (to charge on excess solar power) installed through RenewCo Solar. Matthew, Mark and their team has been just fantastic from the point I got in touch, through quotation, installation and follow through.
They have been very prompt with their comms, the installation was very smooth and they did a great job. The best part is you can reach out to them with any issues after all is done and they still follow up and provide full support.

Unbelievable service and workmanship

Matthew from RenewCo Solar came promptly and a quote was with us within a few days. I found Matthew extremely helpful, and he is definitely a `can do` person. He was able to recognise the issues with the install and came up with all the answers. The system we went with was not the cheapest quote however we have quality panels and inverter with a very user friendly app.
The installation was organised within our tight deadline and was completed very professionally by Scott the installer, all in one day. The communication was excellent. I love the whatsapp group they use which ensures we are all on the same page. The team were very polite, very tidy, and nothing was a problem - even answering our continual questions.
I cannot fault their customer service. They came back the next day to tidy a small raised tile. The grid connection was organised the same day and we were off and running.
Oh, and I need to mention, we have had a number of comments from people in our street about how good the system looks. Definitely worth a little extra to have something on your roof that looks really smart.

It's very rare to not have a single, even tiny, cause for complaint or dissatisfaction when having a major household project done. Not just another sale

The reason you are reading this is that you are doing some research and want to be assured that the installer you are considering will do a professional installation, be professional to deal with, respond to queries and provide post installation service. Matt, Mark and the team ticked all of these boxes and I have no hesitation in recommending their service.

Special note - if you have a pitched roof (mine is approx 35 degrees) these are the guys to talk to, a couple of others were happy to give me big quotes but then turned the job down as in the current market it was too time consuming..

The process from initial quote through to new meter install has been very smooth and RenewCo's communication has been proactive and responsive. As noted by others a site visit from Matt was an early indication of their professionalism and no pressure sales approach. This was reinforced by the installation team who were punctual, friendly and went the extra mile to ensure we had a neat install without lots of exposed conduit, no easy task on our steel framed house.

Perhaps not the cheapest but definitely a case of you get what you pay for and in terms of value very happy.

The post install service and WhatsApp group has been great so far.

The Best by a mile and I'll tell you why...

As like almost everyone considering Solar, your journey starts (or should start) with thorough research on products, system sizes and differences…roof types matter as I learned with my 50 degree Cape Cod angel roof!

You will most likely source quotes from what I term ‘Marketing Machines with famous former Australian Cricketers spruiking their business’ and be tempted into their (on the face of it) very cheap, low cost offerings, only to be stung down the track when you learn of the added install costs etc that will form part of your total cost….

Not to mention their considerable effort to upsell you for no apparent reason other than greed.

So here is why RenewCo Solar is different – no shonky sales tactics. No “upselling for greed” The ONLY provider to visit my home and give me quality advice on installation costs (both the install on the roof & my prehistoric electricity meter that needed an upgrade).

The team were thorough, professional, clean and always on time and on budget. The communication was fantastic (through the WhatsApp chat they set up for your job).

I’ve been undertaking renovations on my property since 2016 and I can honestly say this was the most professional team I have had on my site. Full credit to Matt, Mark, Nathan & team. You should be proud of the business you’re operating and I would highly recommend you to anyone considering Solar!

Very Happy

A professional team.
From initial contact, range of options discussed and quoted, installation and follow up, everything was very professionally carried out. The installation team were top quality guys who delivered a first class job.
It's a business that does what they say they are going to do.
Definitely NOT high pressure salesmen or cowboy tradesmen!
The system has been operating for a month and, so far, is delivering above expectations.

Nothing to fault

The team at RenewCo Solar provide a meticulous service from initial contact to post-installation advice. Unlike the other three quotes I received, the initial site visit was by the owner electrician, not a salesman, who was willing (and able) to answer every one of my niggling questions. Once I had accepted the quote, installation was swift and the whole team were nothing but professional, accommodating and committed to completing a quality installation. Since installation, I run my dryer and air-conditioning free of cost (and conscience) while easily monitoring my energy production/consumption from an app on my phone. RenewCo's responsive post-installation service has continued, long after I paid the bill. RenewCo was not the cheapest quote I obtained, but their full service commitment (on which they have delivered) and the absence of a salesforce for quotes and site visits won me over. If I could give more than 5 stars, I eagerly would.

RenewCo blew everyone else out of the water

I never write reviews, but I’ve been meaning to write a review about Matt and the team at RenewCo for some time, mainly because they blew me away for their approach and customer service.

Like most people reading this I did my fair share of research… actually I did way more than my fair share. But when it came to getting quotes from different solar installers most were more interested in trying to impress me with their laptops and an arial view of our house showing their ability to place little black solar panels in neat arrays.

When Matt made his first visit, there was no laptop, not iPad, no gimmicks… he’s like may people his age, does everything on his phone. My first thought was… ‘who the F^$& is this bloke’. But I very soon had to eat my own thoughts.

No sooner had we made the intros, he spotted my ladder against the house. With a simple, ‘may I?’ He shot up the ladder inspecting for himself the complexity of our roof. From that moment I was sold. You see, as the CEO I don’t believe Matt is inherently a salesman, I never felt he was simply selling me panels, inverter and a battery, the knowledge and understanding he shared in our first meeting showed how immersed he is in his company and industry.

For me personally that understanding and hands on approach reassured me that wherever our solution ended, he understood our needs, the heritage nature and challenges of our house.

For a young company they don’t just understand the importance of customer service, they ensure that at every step of the way you’re in safe hands and will bend over backwards to accomodate any last minute and stupid request you may throw at them (and trust me I threw a few).

They know how important your house is to you and how big an investment solar is. So they don’t want to simply slap on a solar solution, they want to understand what you want and what is best for the aesthetics of your home.

When it came to the actual solution, the team worked with us on our original plan for panels and a battery, only to have us completely change our minds on battery, inverter and panels at the 11th hour. They then worked tirelessly with us, answering every question and giving us multiple options.

On the day of installation, the guys smashed it out, installing 25 panels on 5 different roof areas. They even changed a couple of broken tiles we didn’t know about. By the end of the day the only sign the guys had been on site were the slick REC black solar panels.

Do not be put off that RenewCo is a relatively new player in the market, or have any preconceived ideas (like I did). They only work with the best brands, their installation team is top notch and their customer service is second to none.

We’ve had our system now for 3 months and based on how the system is tracking it will pay for itself in about 4-5 years… less at the rate energy prices are increasing.

It still brings a smile to my face when I boil the kettle and make a cup of tea for free!

Entirely deserving of five stars in every category!

We recently had a solar system installed by RenewCo.

The process was painless from beginning to end, including answering my (frequent!) questions effectively... The quote process involved me requesting a number of changes, none of which were too much trouble for the RenewCo team.

Once we were satisfied with the proposed system, we pushed the go button, and installation was scheduled at a mutally agreeable time.

The quality of workmanship is first class, as we needed for our property, and the team doing the job were professional and pleasure to talk with on the day - they seem pretty happy to do their work!

The system is now working a treat. Strongly recommend!

Excellent install going the extra mile

The sales process was as per usual. Post sales they indicated a date and hit that install date. The installers worked all day and into the evening to get the job done and did a great job understanding the complexities of the site and roof. Really happy with the outcome

Happy in all respects

Had three on site consultations and only RenewCo seemed to really listen to what I wanted. The others were just scripted sales pitches with lots of info I already knew. Only RenewCo actually climbed onto my (complicated) roof to look at the details.

These guys are fantatsic

Matthew came to our home and understood the issues of a quality install on a Heritage listed building. He supplied crucial information about legislation that meant I did not have to submit a DA, even though my council initially wanted me to.

Multiple options were provided and he talked through pros and cons of each. The SolarQuotes vendors either didnt really get the site and us, or only provided a remote quote with a site visit only if we signed up.

Install was super smooth. All their own employees. Issues were resolved carefully and thoughtfully. All issues were sorted by them and the system was up and running. Absolutely reccomend

Brilliant service and very thorough job

This team is an absolute delight to deal with. They set up a WhatsApp group with the sales and install team keeping us informed about Installation and also about the best feed in deals.

The installation team was prompt, friendly, courteous and efficient. We made a request that was outside of the usual scope and the team came back another day to do it for us.

Matthew and team are very good at what they do. We had a slimmer profile tile, which many companies would not even quote on but the RenewCo team had done plenty of these and installed our job in half a day.

Fantastic experience! Great Product and service!

From the first time discussing requirements and choices of various components of the system to the final phase of installation (and customer service beyond installation) I have had terrific interactions with all areas of the business. The installation is perfect - the guys really take pride in their work, and have set the system up in the area best suited to us, not the closest (shortest cable). We’re now glued to the apps, watching our energy production ?. Couldn’t be happier with a massive solar system.

We were very specific about the type of solar that we wanted, and Mark was more than happy to accommodate our wishes. We wanted to maximise the solar panel (61 panels) and got 4 batteries. Huge system. He was very easy to deal with, and we enjoyed the entire experience. The team that did the installation were excellent. Very friendly and kind and always left the place tidy. The job is now up and running. We are so happy.
