Terrific people to work with, great service and installation.
I asked for email contact from two solar providers. Two contacted me and they led to phone conversations with each one. Both were polite, respectful of my lack of knowledge on the topic and there was no real difference in the information each provided on solar ie both were informed and gave similar advice. They offered two different products and different system size. Sanctury Solar was my final choice based on the range of options they offered ie two system sizes. Price was also part of that decision, but not the principal factor. The installation team were terrific. Good natured people who worked with me and helped me to understand things.Since the installation, I worried because I hadn't heard from the electricity provider - however, one phone call resolved my worry. I was given verbal support and reassurance. I can only be very grateful for finding your site to lead me to all of these good people, doing a great job. That includes the company I didn't select, they were also great.

Got solar
Mike at Sam sparks does It all. Do not have smart meter hooked up yet, mike at sam sparks is organising that and will be done soon.8 months later we asked Mark: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"

Ok I guess
installed quite quickly. Seems ok for panel installation. Inverter is on north-facing wall so I will need to build a roof/shelter for it. Its an old house so its difficult to do a spectacular install. Also, being in 'rural' Byron area, prices were not as competitive as city, but I think thats normal as the installers have higher overheads.Handover was not great - I downloaded the app and worked out how to pair it with the dongle. Its all working now though.
Performance is pretty much as discussed with installer - no surprises. Changed retailer to get a better infeed tariff but its still just theft.
Overall I feel the system is good - Jinko and Sungrow - and the install was done really quickly (plus score for installer). Easy enough to deal with installer, whom i found quite knowledgeable and receptive.
