Solar installation
Good customer service, everything arranged from start to finish. At my request, the installer spent some time with a solar meter trying to find the best location for the panels to avoid shadowing from trees.Panel rating: 5/5

Came to the home, did a thorough assessment of the roof and ensured panels were appropriate. No issues with connections to home power and the grid. Set up wifi systems for monitoring.
Quote and final price several thousand less than another installer quoting the same system

Excellent!
Jeff from Solar Blast was amazing. The entire process was painless. The job was completed within 4 weeks from consultation to power generation with batteries. The system was complicated and separated by a large distance between batteries and panels but Jeff was very knowledgeable and instead of choosing the easiest option he opted for the option that would produce the most amount of energy.Highly recommend, his operation is seamless from front to back.

Unfortunately we had no success with the installers recommended to us by Solar Quotes (one company was terrible, did everything you describe in your book as exactly with what you should avoid!) while the second one didn't get in contact with us at all. We did find two other companies via word of mouth through friends and were able to look them up on your website. We also emailed through to check pricing and were very happy with the assistance we received from Solar Quotes on each and every occasion that we interacted with one of the team.8 months later we asked Rachael: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Our system has been up and running now for around 5 months and we haven't had any troubles at all. We are LOVING the monitoring system that Fronius supplies and on the few occasions early on that we had to contact Jeff with questions, he was always prompt and helpful and in fact also called us to let us know how he thought the system was going. Very happy with our decision to use Solar Blast and the quality of both the service and product we received.11 April 2019
I found the information on the Solar Quote web page to be very useful and informative, although not using one companies nominated, I was able to use the information to assess the quotes.
The company I went with was obtained via personal recommendation, also they were the only ones who actually climbed onto the roof and looked at the best orientation for the panels, the other companies only used either a roof top photo or looked at it from ground level. There is morning shade which would have obscured the panels placed on the east of the house.

I had problems choosing between Essential Solar and Solar Blast as both quotes were good and the contacts came to inspect the house and both gave me helpful information but I felt that Solar Blast while more expensive was offering slightly higher quality. 360 Energy seemed to work only from the office and though in your top tier of both panels and inverter, they were at the bottom end and brands I was not familiar with. Jeff Woolnough (Solar Blast) indicated that he was CEC accredited, Solar Blast seems to be a very small business and he showed me how he keeps up with all his installations on his phone. I guess I'm the trusting kind but I think he is honest. He quoted me on 4.6kw of LG panels and then found the panels had been changed. We renegotiated for 5.05kw of LG panels but that required negotiating with Ausnet (over 5kw) and that has held up installation which was no problem to me. I am expecting commencement of installation on Wednesday (13th July) and looking forward to, hopefully, a trouble free system.Leslie Booth

Definitely! I have put the best rating for all items because there have been no problems, we have not had to do a thing, we see the results every time we pass the inverter and of course when we get our energy bill we pay so little.30 January 2017
Local supplier, which I prefer. Lives only 2km from me. He turned up at the time he said he would, completed the installation quickly and efficiently and tidied up afterwards. All very painless!

Installation guys turned up at the agreed time, completed the work in good time and cleaned up afterwards. After-sales service with manuals, documentation and advice was first rate. At this early stage system appears to be operating as predicted.

Prompt courteous thorough. Installation promised within a week & done a couple of days earlier. Neat & professional job.
Not the cheapest, but competitive with those I'd choose from. That he is a local is a major plus - in case there are any issues

Jeff, Solar Blast came by to survey my roof orientation and followed up with detailed reports and a comprehensive quote. Gave him the job and very happy I selected Solar Blast. Pre-installation, installation and post-installation - all went smoothly and all follow-up actions undertaken promptly. I'd recommend Jeff, Solar Blast anytime.

8 months later we asked David: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
The system is performing much better than expected. Our most recent power bill was 80% lower than the same period last year.
Great service, Jeff explained everything and was a pleasure to deal with.
Everything went as expected, installed in a day, up and going within 2 days :)
