Customer First attitude to delivery what they need
I Dealt with Stephen of Solar Run Ballarat and he was great.He spoke to me like a person, asked questions around what I wanted from a Solar System. He checked where inverters could be fitted, panel layout and provided a couple of quotes based on the Inverter Brand I wanted (SolarEdge) and made recommendations on panels that had local support in Australia based on his experience.
He also made recommendations to fit two solar edge inverters with capability to run off 3 phase power and the capability to add batteries and EV Chargers if and when I Wanted to.
The quotes are on the more expensive side purely because of the quality of components, size of the system (13.6kw / 10kw of Inverters) and that I was in a 2 story home.
The installers were very polite and punctual, they did a great job and ensured that they replaced any broken tiles on the roof so that we were back to water tight in our new home. The fitment of the Inverters is very tidy and the site was left clean.
Stephen has walked us through every point from selection to date of installation to green energy loans to connectivity to our vendor and getting the app sorted out.
I Highly recommend anyone in the Ballarat area to speak with Stephen if you want honest advice and simply a nice person who genuinely wants to help.

Love the product and the service
Right on the money, with the other quotes. Came highly recommended from a few other people, including a builder who used the on 12 jobs.Much more realistic than the quotes I got on here, who said I could get way more panels, than was feasible

Smooth transition
The company was honest and upfront with all details, Jag was a pleasure to deal with and Rob the electrician kept us informed with all steps of install and operation. My request was for a Quality job, I think we got it, we have terracotta roof, and was expecting many broken tiles.however only 9 were broken and replaced.30 August 2023
Customer focused company
Quote was provided after visiting the property as opposed to other companies providing quotes based on aerial photos. The salesman was not pushy and answered every question I put to him without using industry jargon.The installation was done approx 1 week after accepting the quote. Installers were polite and punctual but perhaps not as tidy as they could have been.
Co pay organised grid connection and kept me informed along the way.
I experienced an inverter fault 3 weeks after grid connection and made a phone call around 9.00am. Issue was resolved by 3.30pm same day.
So far I am very pleased with the result.

We also got a Alpha 10.3 KW Alpha-ESS Storion battery. Both the solar and battery are amazing. We have a 6 bedroom double storey house and a pool in Victoria, our electricity bill was approx. $2,800 a year, it's now $450 a year amazing!

Alpha all the way !!
I couldn't be happier with my whole experience with Solar Run !! Not only are they local, but the customer service was spot on. They gave me so much advice and assistance with everything, and the installers were delightful young men !! Quite different to my experience with the previous company I was dealing with. I waited for an entire 12 months for something to be installed and when there was no contact from them, I felt as though they had breeched our contract so I cancelled my order with them and went local !! So glad I did !!10 months later we asked Beryl: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Once the couple of glitches were ironed out early, it has performed very well. I am quite happy with my system.29 January 2023
Excellent installer! After Sales Support needs improvement.
The sales & quoting process was seamless:- Most knowledgeable and forthright sales person
- Quoted for what we actually needed
- Didn’t go too deeply into technical details (only when relevant)
- Answered all of our questions
- Provided the right system for a fair price
The initial installation was fantastic!
- The team was punctual, friendly, polite and tidy
- Consulted when they had questions
- Completed installation in one day
Customer service experience was mixed:
- Again the sales and quoting process was excellent.
- They organised the grid connection all went well (in fact the inspector was in the area and certified the install on the day)
- Consumption Monitor (Energy Meter) was not working after install. Took many phone calls and two visits over several weeks to get it resolved. Definitely an area for improvement.
Overall we are very happy with the solar system we purchased and performance thus far!

Job not fully completed but operational
Everything went smoothly except the original solar Edge inverter was not available so a cheaper Chinese one was installed at a small discount and we are weighing for the isolation switch to be installed it was left out by the subcontractor and picked up by the licences electrician on handover, we have asked for this to be done and been advised it would be, on three occasions and now our phone calls are going to message bank.Panel rating: 4/5

Deposit paid in June 2022, system still not installed in October 2022.
I would strongly advice against using Solar Run.I paid a $3k deposit for a 10kw system in June 2022. To date Solar Run booked and then cancelled 3 installation dates. They have now informed me that the inverter is 'out of stock' and requested to cancel my contract.
To try and resolve this issue I have left more than four messages with the 1300 number and been promised call-backs from head office which have never materialised. I have also written a letter to the higher ups, who have not responded.

Worst service
The moment you sign the solar vic contract they will stop responding to you.I was initally contacted by a person. The moment the contract was sign it went downhill. The manager didnt even bother to configure the meter box once the installation was approved by the inspector because of which my solar system is still generating energy bt i still pay a bill of 361$ for month for electricity. That means its a waste to install the solar sytem through them . When contacted they would not even respond timely. The worst customer service ever....I wish someone was accountable

Fantastic Installation and Experience - Great Value for Money
Chris Huxham from SolarRun Redland Bay was amazing to deal with. We are an elderly couple, so the thought of making the incorrect decision was very intimidating. Chris came to our house and went over and above to explain solar (in very easy to understand terms) to us. He answered all our questions and assisted us in choosing the correct system for our needs.He was extremely polite every time we met, and afterwards, he checked in to make sure we were completely satisfied, AGAIN offering to answer any question we may have had. Not that it was necessary as he was so thorough when he initially custom designed our system for us. We just cannot fault him and his install team.
We can STRONGLY recommend Chris and SolarRun

Fantastic and helpful

Good install, but failed to clean up afterwards and left cable ties and metal strips on floor
Sales person was great and explained the processInstall was punctual but left cable ties and strips on floor.
Customer service was good and arranged switch over to smart meter in couple of weeks.

NO SHOW.
I agreed to the proposal of Solar Run end of August. Till now, I haven't heard from them. Called them up, texted him few days ago, said he will call. Zilch. I'll try call him again today. I don't think I want to call them again. I already got approval from Solar Vic. I haven't signed anything yet with Solar Run.Battery rating: 1/5

Solar Run Reservoir install
Solar Run in Reservoir were great to deal with from start to finish. Dhiraj was great to deal with and always responded to my emails immediately. The team of installers did a fantastic job on site. Great price compared to competitors with identical product
A couple of hiccups that were sorted quickly after raising concern with installer1) job not finished in allocated time due to being one man down and then unable to commit to coming back next day to complete. Thankfully due to bad weather in another location they were able to complete my project on day three Workmanship was very professional and all debris was removed from site
2). Issues with registration of solar panels through Solar Edge monitoring as a simple field was not completed properly by the installer on there portal when entering. This problem was rectified within 2 hrs once highlighted
Overall Solarun and there installation teams performance was satisfactory and I would recommend them to others

Pretty seamless service
An was pretty prompt at getting back to us and organising to come out for a quote. He had an installer who was willing to deal with our delicate terracotta roof where many would not consider.from quote to install probably 4 weeks. Inspector said the installers had done a great job.
Overall quite seamless and much appreciated.

Solar Run Lara great to deal with !!!!
Sam came out and provided a quote in person. Very polite, professional and knowledgeable. His pricing wasn't the cheapest but was very competitive and offered the best solution and service from all that I engaged to discuss. . Provided numerous options and also sent out an electrician and installer to measure up roof to ensure correct orientation and positioning of panels prior to me signing up. Within 1 week of installing all compliances certificates issued and on the grid saving $$$ money. Sam arranged it all. Big waste of time
I had a quote from Solarrun, back in Nov 20. The job was supposed to start in January, they never turn up...nothing from them to explain.After few phone call, we reschedule in feb and...they did not came.I had to call them to found out they had an issue with staff, couldnt do the job but did not let me know.
After quite few phone calls ,and no reply to my messages .they finally give me another date and no they did not turn up again!!we are now in April21 and still havent heard anything...

Great Solar Exceptional Service
The entire process with Matt Hall from Solarrun Warner’s Bay was positive. No hard sell, just credible providers with high levels of knowledge around the solution and attention to our requirements. Installation was quick and neat. These guys know what they are doing. Matt’s team treated our home with care and left our place in perfect order. Post install service has been wonderful and a couple of issues have been resolved very quickly. Great team!27 January 2021
The worst and most unprofessional company ever.
The quote went smooth and they are helpful at first then when you sign the agreement, things will get worst.I have Solar Run GreenVale to install my home solar panel but it has been 3 months and it keep delaying, I have called them more then 20 times, every time they keep giving excuse and then not picking the phone. the customers services phone line (which show on their website) is pretty useless and cannot do anything except will ask to call back but never do. They cancelled the installation 2 times and now still not going anywhere. So disappointed how unprofessional they are.17 December 2020

Matt and his team were wonderful from beginning to end
Matt was very clear and patient throughout the process taking the time to ensure I was fully informed about what I was buying and answered my copious amounts of questions comparing products.I was finding the whole solar process not only confusing but overwhelming as I had made the mistake of doing an online enquiry which resulted in an inundation of random calls and emails.
The install was smooth and thorough with a team of knowledgeable and helpful installers who made sure I was not only happy but well aware of everything I needed to know
Importantly the after sales service has been great- with a follow up call out to ensure things were running as they should be and that I didn't have any questions as well as dialogue about how it is running.
I cannot more highly recommend Matt and his team at Warner's Bay Solarrun

Fantastic solar panel installation.
The process was easy and quick. The only delay was due to the pandemic but installation was immediately scheduled once the restrictions were lifted.The installers were professional and left the job site clean, the same as when they found it.

Prompt, Clear Service with no unnecessary upselling
I dealt with Matt from Solar Run, who first responded to meet at 8pm at night, 10 minutes after I sent a quote request. Explained things simply and didn't try to add bonus extras where not pertinent (e.g. no need for microinverters based on our shading assumptions). Provided several quotes that met our requirements and took the time to explain return on investment calculations for each system size.Installation was a breeze with all admin handled by Matt expertly with my energy provider and the CEC. Matt ensured my provider was informed of the install for the purpose of installing smart meters. All up i think i spent about 15 minutes organising and having to do administration through the entire process.
Installers were professional and respectable who left the place tidy.
Had a minor firmware issue with the inverter 2 weeks after install, after a quick email to mate he contacted the provider and the software was remotely updated with the issue resolved within a handful of hours.
Quite happy to recommend Matt and his team to other people looking for a solar install in the Newcastle region.

Just had a 9KW Installed by solar run Matt Hall and his team did a great job.when I got the initial quote I sent it in to the team and Finn, they suggested i might use a different brand of panel
I asked can i have XYZ rather than what is on offer?
No Problem they said and I got the product the team suggested they gave me a date they arranged the tie up with Origin Energy and it just happened under their guidance.
The team turned up on time did the work cleaned up and left the job site perfect
Whilst it has only been a few weeks I would recommend Matt Hall in the Newcastle NSW area

Excellent customer service and installation. Highly recommended
After sourcing a few quotes, I settled with Solar Run Taylors Hill as they are local, reasonable in pricing and more knowledgeable of the products I was requesting for. Although there were many steps involved it felt quick and seamless and all my questions were answered promptly.After signing the contract, the installers came in 2 days to install 20 solar panels with the SolarEdge inverter and we are very happy with the work done. In some bigger solar companies, the wait time for installation were between 3 - 6 weeks.
I don't usually leave feedback but this business definitely deserve it. Overall, I will recommend Solar Run Taylors Hill to my family and friends.

Solarrun for best solar
From start to finish the whole process has been and continues to be seamless. We would given a comprehensive and clear explanation of how it works, the cost for what has been provided is beyond our expectations. The installation was was exceptional, the men were very efficient, respectful and considerate, couldn't have asked for more from them. What's even more impressive is the follow up and support from Solarrun. I'd heard lots of negative feedback from others however our experience has been polar opposite. GOOD JOB! SolarRun Bellbird Park
We wanted to deal with a locally based solar company who provided real/personal customer service. Chad, Judith and their installation team from SolarRun Bellbird Park’s customer service was exceptional!From our initial meeting (onsite at our property) Chad looked after us. Chad listened to our needs, discussed our options, and then sold us the best product for our circumstances and not the product he was going to make the most money from, communication with all team members was excellent, installation was quick and setup went smoothly. The whole process was made very easy by Chad, Judith and their team.
We opted to go with the 5 kW Sungrow Inverter ((10 year warranty), the app that comes with the inverter is simple to use and understand) and 370W SolarRun’s EGing Mono Cell Panels ((15 year product warranty, 25 year performance warranty) look good, were great value for money and work extremely well). We also included a hot water timer on our switchboard. We’re happy!!
We highly recommend Chad, Judith and their team from SolarRun Bellbird Park!

My Install - Lemon Tree Passage.
Quoting process was exceptional, I was chasing a bigger system but due to shading etc Matt put forward a system more suited to my location. He could have progressed with the bigger at more cost, shows honesty which was not so obvious on other installers I chased for a quote.The installers were very polite and efficient, no complaints on the install.
Customer service is exceptional, lots of follow up and provided detail when I asked questions.
The easy process makes for a happy customer.

Brilliant Job Under Difficult Conditions
I was referred to An by a friend who was very pleased with the price and results. I got an initial honest assessment of the viability of installing a system on my small townhouse roof, and then An pushed my roof's space to the limits and managed to squeeze enough panels to make it work.The price he quoted me was very competitive against the previous 3 I already had, and I was happy enough to go ahead with it. The SolarEdge inverter is also a highlight, being a smart inverter that has a good tracking app and good customer service.
Chris commanded the installation team and did an amazing job. my roof is a steep roof of a 2 story townhouse, and the team said multiple times it was the hardest roof the had to work on...
There was an issue fitting all panels according to the original quote, and there was room for better communications with me, but An sorted it with great customer service skills.
In short, Highly recommended!

Highly Recommend - Solar Run Bellbird Park
Confused and unsure after speaking with another solar company salesperson, a friend referred me to Chad from Bellbird Park Solar Run. I realised very quickly during Chad's initial visit that I had been totally misled and ill-informed by the previous solar company, who were obviously desperate for a sale, as all of the figures and savings they had 'guaranteed' were totally false.Chad was completely open and honest about all of the pro's and con's - not that there were many con's! - and gave me accurate details and figures of the potential savings. He gave me time to think about my investment in solar rather than pushing me to 'sign up immediately'.
The quote from Bellbird Park Solar Run was actually more affordable than the initial solar company I had approached who had 'fudged' the numbers! My quote was professionally presented and easy to understand, and any questions were quickly and honestly answered.
We had an initial hiccup - nothing to do with Solar Run, however Chad and Judith quickly sorted the issue so that we were back on track with minimal hold up.
The installation was spot on. The guys were really friendly and tidy, and once the job was complete, left with no mess or rubbish for me to dispose of.
Following the installation, Chad returned to connect the system to my internet and mobile phone app so I have a real-time monitoring.
All in all, my experience has been extremely positive thanks to Chad and Judith at Solar Run BellBird Park.
