We don't have a battery system.Absolutely, very pleased with no more electricity bills.

Brilliant installer and knowledge merchant.
Cameron, is one of the most knowledgeable people in the solar industry. His knowledge about all aspects of solar systems is truely second to none. Cameron does not push any aspect of the required system and listens to the customer's thoughts and requirements. Due to the fact we had only been in our home for 6 month and had a limited usage profile Cameron suggested we wait to install batteries until we had a true picture of our needs over a longer term. Cameron even suggested we have our meter upgraded prior to installing our solar system. This meant that we were seeing the benefits of our system from day one. As I am an electrician by trade Cameron worked with be to install the equipment where I wanted it and I have to highlight this was not an easy job to do but he did it. We both felt it was worth the extra effort. The installation was done with a lot of thought for future needs and the site was left as it was found. Customer service has been exceptional.Panel rating: 5/5

Excellent installer and installation
Cameron is excellent. His quote was considerably less than 3 other suppliers for top quality materials (LG Panels and Fromius inverter). He paid close attention to our needs for an installation that didn't compromise our homes appearance (black panels, rails and clips), and his workmanship was great- neat, fast and efficient. I love the Fronius monitoring software- realtime advice on system and house performance.Would highly recommend him.

We decided on Solarwind renewables because Cameron gave us a good quality system for an excellent price. The quality workmanship and prompt installation was also part of the excellent service we received. We would definitely recommend Solarwind Renewables.

I'm very happy with the performace. I'm not actually one year in yet as the system was commissioned in November so it's only 6 months. I've been carefully watching the performance and can see the advantage of an east and west spit of my panels to capute the best of both moring and afternoon sun - which Cameron recomended. I look like making the annual yeild that was predicted. I'ts not till you have experince with a real sytem that you can understand just how it works for you and gain an understanding of the impact of your own self-consumption Vs export and import of energy.15 May 2018

We recently built an off-grid home and used Solar Winds for our solar power. Cameron Davis was professional, knowledgeable and consistently exceeded our expectations. He was always on time, and over delivered on many aspects. Solar Winds was the best off all contractors we dealt with during the construction of our home.

Cameron at SolarWindRenewables was quick and great to deal with. He has experience and I felt I definitely could trust his opinions on gear and positioning of the system. After the PV was installed I emailed him with a question (on a Sunday morning) and he dropped past a few hours later to discuss the issue. Everything running beautifully!

Just one point for prospective solar panel purchasers to take into consideration when making the decision to go solar is the quoted value of the STC's in relation to your proposed solar system. In our case the short period of a few weeks between accepting the quote and having our panels installed saw the price of the STC's drop from $38 to $29 which resulted in a significant increase in the final price of the system. This is the result of the STC market mechanism in action which does see the value fluctuate depending on the number of solar panels being installed at any one point in time.
Apart from that we have a nice new solar array on our roof and are proud to be doing our part to help the environment.

He wasn't the cheapest (but not by much) but he took the troublele to understand our current and future requirements and to develop and recommend a configuration that met them. Excellent knowledge and care in the installation and configuration.

It was a very friendly process, and patient on their part with my many questions. The installation was done in due course and as predicted. His explanation was excellent. I only wrote good value for money because the other company quoted a similar amount, so I didn't go in for that aspect, but because of good communication

I would have no hesitation in recommending this company and my installer Cameron. He has excellent technical qualifications in this field of work.
Once installed, did a detailed system components walk through with me plus, provided information on trouble shooting/resetting system i.e. how to switch off system at Power box and Inverter and re-boot. He also went over and above just doing the installation. I had mentioned I had some broken tiles when he 1st came to view the house and was organising to get someone to replace them for me as I had spare tiles. On completion of my Solar system, he also informed me he had replaced my tiles for me. He did not charge me for this work even though I offered to pay him. Very rare for this to occur nowadays (at least with many of the Tradies I have had to deal with). Also took time to ensure a thorough clean up of all areas on completion of work.
On completion, Cameron also spent time setting up and walking me through the process of accessing of my system's 24hrs performance monitoring website, explaining how the performance effectiveness is viewed and reported. I was also actively encouraged to contact him at any time with any questions or concerns I might have.

Several aspects of Cameron Davis who installed the system proved to be a preference for quality, honesty, integrity, genuine alternative considerations, ability to explain details, sincerity, and ability.
I felt content with his suggestions and his ability to clarify any concerns.
My 2.6 Kw system is sufficient and several sellers clearly ignored the actual roof area at the rear which is expansive and appropriate for solar.

Knowledgeable and very helpful installer
Cameron and Mark did a great job of installing our system.Cameron was very helpful at answering all my questions and very responsive to my emails and messages.
Cameron gave us 1/2 dozen options on system size and price with various panel and inverter brands.
Cameron was very punctual, polite and they cleaned up after the job was done.
His after sales service is second to none and was easy to get in touch with and was happy to talk when we had a system fault and performance issues that was alerted to us via the Solar analytics monitoring but just turned out to be due to shading and nothing to do with the installation or any electrical fault.
We have 10.05KW System, 10kw Symo Fronius inverter, 30 x 335W LG Neon Panels, 18 Tigo optimisers and solar analytics monitoring.
We have 13 panels on the North,12 on the East, and 5 on the West,
We do get a bit of shading from trees and the next door neighbours house in the afternoon on the North and Western panels that why we went for the optimisers on those panels.
We have an 18kw Ducted reverse cycle air conditioner and use it in winter and summer.
We have had our system for nearly 1 year now and have had 2 full electricity bill cycles and have not have to pay a bill yet and and are always in credit and we use that to pay for our gas bill and the next electricity bill (17 Jan 20 ? 16 Apr 20 $314.16 Credit, 17 Oct 19 ? 16 Jan 20 $309.79 Credit, 19 Aug 19 ? 16 Oct 19 $120.46 Credit).
I would highly recommend Solar Wind Renewables and have done so to my neighbour who got Cameron to upgrade his system.
