Highly recommend
We are very impressed with the professionalism and level of service provided by Anil and his team.The team inspected our roof prior to the quote which took away any guess work with how many panels we could install.

Tesla PowerWall 2 install in car port
- Of the 3 quotes, Solar4Life was the most prompt to offer site visit to complete a quote. The came through with second lowest price, but I chose them over cheaper quote, since they did the site visit.- The installation took a bit longer than planned. The original location to install the powerwall was changed on the day. this was a good thing, as the original quote didn't consider car port, due to proximity to windows of house. But this wasn't an issue (it was far enough away from window) and this ended up being the best location for it. The two main installers (external electrical contractors who did the work on behalf of Solar4Life) came across as flustered and didn't exude confidence in their approach to the install. In the end, everything worked as expected, but there was plenty of swearing and "hissy fits" in between.

Generating Abundant Power and Savings!
I recently installed a 26.4kW solar system from Solar4life, and I am absolutely thrilled with the results. The package I chose included the balance of system, labor, and installation, encompassing panel mounting kits, electrical components, roof flashings, and the necessary labor. The specific components featured in my system are the Jinko Solar Tiger Neo JKM440N-54HL4R-V (440W) panels, totaling 60 units, and the Fronius Symo 20.0-3-M inverter (20kW).What initially caught my attention was Solar4life's recommendation for a larger system, unlike some other suggestions I received for smaller setups with batteries. This turned out to be a game-changer, as my system now consistently generates over 150KW of power. The decision to go bigger has proven to be incredibly wise, and I am reaping the rewards in the form of substantial credits from ActewAGL.
Not only am I thrilled to be contributing to a cleaner environment, but the financial benefits have surpassed my expectations. Thanks to Solar4life, I no longer have to worry about energy bills. In fact, I'm consistently in credit with ActewAGL, making my energy expenses a thing of the past.
The Jinko Solar panels and Fronius inverter have been performing exceptionally well, showcasing the reliability and quality of Solar4life's offerings. The installation process was smooth, and the team's expertise was evident throughout. I appreciate the attention to detail in including all the necessary components for a comprehensive solar solution.

Couldn't be happier
I live in Bungendore NSW and had a Solar4Life 13.2 kWDC (STC) system installed using30 × 440W Jinko Solar Tiger Neo panels and a
Sungrow SH10RT · 10000W inverter Three phase ·98.4%max. efficiency and a
Sungrow SBR160 modular battery 16kWh (16kWh usable) · Lithium Ion
The east/west system has been up and running for a month and I am very pleased with the results. From monitoring the system on the iSolarCloud app I have used hardly any power from the grid. If the battery drops to 80% by sunrise it is fully charged again by about 9 a.m.
I had a number of quotes from different companies and the price didn’t vary a whole lot between them. What made me choose Solar4Life was the patience of their general manager Anil in explaining how it all worked and refining the plan a number of times to meet my needs. I visited their warehouse and saw how they operate.
The installers were easy to work with and all were employees of the company and not contractors. They did a good job and cleaned up well when they were finished. I was very impressed with their electrician. Besides hooking up everything including an EV charging cable, he installed the battery below the inverter in the garage with enough room to add to the modular battery in case I think I need it come winter. Solar4Life organised the grid connection with no effort on my part.
All in all, a very positive experience and I haven’t hesitated to recommend them to good friends.

Great company to deal with
After using SolarQuotes to source companies to provide quotes for the new place we were moving into, Anil from Solar4Life was the first to contact me. We met via an online meeting and he discussed different options and provided 5 system designs he felt would best suit the residence. Having had a Fronius and Tesla at the old place I was keen to stay with what I knew worked well, and he provided a competitive quote with a number of options.The sales process was good, after the initial discussion, there was no super pushy sales pitches, a coupe of companies I was quoted by, rang and emailed every day trying to get my business, which I don't like! Anil came out onsite and looked at the residence (the only company that offered this as we are rural), and confirmed location of all equipment, made sure I was happy with where it would all be fitted.
The next challenge was to get it fitted prior to the New year, which he achieved, the first date fell through as the electrician did not arrive at work, this was quickly rectified and the system was installed and up and running prior to the new year, a very quick turn around. The install went pretty well, a couple of reminders to the installers not to cut metal on the roof as we are on tank water, which they accommodated, and on completion of the job they cleaned the site and took all the rubbish away. Anil came out to ensure the commissioning of the system was achieved and ensured I was happy with everything, great service!
Currently waiting to have the meter changed over, but Anil pre booked this prior to install to ensure it would happen as quickly as possible.

Solved in the end but a bumpy ride
All the problems have now been resolved but it was I that pointed them out.Part of the solar array wasn't connected to the system correctly (7/29 panels not connected) but Solar4life said to wait a week and maybe it was cloudy weather it wasn't generating at capacity. Finally got them to fix after a week.
2nd problem was our roof leaked after a big storm due to the install. They were very hard to get hold of who was coming and when it was going to be fixed. It was fixed in the end and isn't leaking since.
I'm still happy with the system and the quoted price.

Highly professional advice and promt installation
Selecting, designing and installing the solar system and heat pump with Anil and his team at Solar4Life was a highly informative and pleasurable experience. Anil’s breadth of knowledge and patience in walking us through the available options was exemplary – no sales-pitch or push for particular brands, carefully explaining options (several times over), outlining pros and cons of different combinations of panels and inverters, helped our decision process over about a week. Solar4Life offered the best quote compared with comparable systems from 4 other companies. Customer Service Champions!
Solar4Life were responsive from start to finish. Their advice was honest and aligned to a lot of the research I was doing myself. At the helm of this company is a general manager with a lot of passion for the industry and the work that they do, this shines through in the time he is willing to spend with clients to really explain the pros and cons of the systems they are quoting. He even went as far as coming out to my place on his day off after the install to enable a feature on my inverter that had been disabled by default. He also spent the time with me to test the monitoring of the system, which involved testing multiple appliances while he re-checked electrical work. As far as the actual system goes, it's performing well so far, especially with the cloud cover we have been having.Panel rating: 5/5

Good stuff!
This was an addition to our existing 3 phase, microinverter based 13 kW system, putting an extra 5.7 kW on various parts of the roof to try and pick up more early morning and late afternoon sun. Solar4Life did our original install and we've been happy with the performance* and service so we went with them again. We back and forthed several designs before settling on the final layout and they were very helpful,and quick turning them around.The timeline they provided for the installation process was accurate, and the install itself was done very quickly on the day. They did the behind the scenes magic to make the new components show up on the Enphase app, so I can now spend my retirement watching the numbers.
*La Nina became quite apparent after the initial installation, and now the new install seems to be about to precipitate a week or more of rain. Coincidence?

Value for money and customer satisfaction
I obtained three quotes, Solar4Life was in the middle. The much more expensive quote was not worth the money as Solar4Life’s panels and inverter had better specifications than them and so the products were more than comparable.I also found the company very responsive. They replied promptly to my queries re the products used etc, re the installation and right up to actual installation and post installation. Not very often do you get a call from the MD asking whether everything was done to our satisfaction.

Highly recommended
I must admit it's a nightmare going through this process and there are indeed some cowboys out there! After getting about 6 quotes, we settled on Solar4Life due to their quality of product - NON CHINESE made panels (REC 410w made in Singapore) and a Sungrow controller - total nearly 6.6kw.There was a hickup with one of the subcontractors working without proper PPE (tethers) and worksafe shut down the site mid install. Different subbies attended and completed the install and all in all very happy with the quality of their work.
Despite the drama, I would highly recommend Solar4Life.

Solar4life review about our experience and satisfaction
Highly professional and recommend them with 5 star rating. True pleasure to work with Anil and I ended up with the different spec than what initially I thought of due to our discussion on efficiency and future proof system. During this process I called up Anil many times and he always responded and explained everything patiently. Even I visited to his Mitchell office and spend 3 hrs to design my system with so many back and forth discussion due to product, pricing and value for money. Anil played critical role in optimising the system and fulfilled my requirement. He kept me updated with the progress, all paperwork went smooth and installation done by team of professionals. Solar4Life were careful with the installation of panels and inverter and always responsive.
We have had our solar system installed for a month or so now. So far all is going well and the panels look good. We haven't received a power bill yet so it is too early to tell how well the system works for us. Solar4Life were careful with the installation of panels and the inverter and they always responded quickly and politely to my questions or concerns during the quoting process. I organised several quotes and did my own research. Solar4Life offered a competitive price for what I wanted. They also came back to assist with grid connection after the install. My only advice to others is to carefully assess and agree on the placement of the inverter prior to the day of installation so there are no unexpected surprises. All went well for us but we did have to change the inverter placement on the day of installation.Supplier Reply:

Tradies were very efficient and polite. Were told solar would be up and running before Christmas but that didn’t happen. Not very good on Solar 4 Life’s part . Alisdair also changed plans where to put panels. He told us we would have 12 panels on top roof and 4 on a lower roof. Changed plans at very last minute. Ended putting all 16 on top roof. Good value installation
Excellent pricing and good customer service up front. Nathan was very patient answering all my questions.Installation was disorganised and a bit lengthy, but this may have been largely beyond Solar4Life's control - I understand that combination of rain, covid infections and shipping issues meant there was a significant backlog. They ended up getting in contractors, including from interstate, to manage backlog, which created own problems. There was some problems with the work of the contractor who installed a larger meter box, however Simon from Solar4Life responded quickly to this and rectified promptly. Simon's communication was great.

Excellent design and customer service
Although the system has not been installed yet, Solar4Life was responsive and provided a 7.65kW design that fully met my needs - which was for more PV rather than fastest payback. The quote was very timely and the sales rep was well trained and knowledgeable. Also had the patience to work through alternatives. The ACT Sustainable Household Scheme is excellent and very user friendly, with rapid approval in my case (within a day).12 February 2022
Customer service
We had some technical issues that came up after the solar panel being installed couple of years back. We have contacted solar for life team, the action was quick. They sent the tech team next day itself. They stayed back for the day with us and resolved the issue. Hope this service will be given to rest of the community. Good system, but constant delays and poor communication
Sales person was great, informative, good communication etc.Nothing wrong with the system, although it isn't fully functional yet with further installations required.
Installation has been a nightmare, 3 months down the track and still not completed to date. We requested that notice be given when workmen would be on-site for the installation, as the tennants in the house require notice, however several times tradesman completed work at the house unannounced.
Poor communication between the tradesmen and the operations team. Communication isn't really required for a straight forward install, however if any additional work is required (switch board upgrades or additional electrical works), poor communication has caused many issues with ordering additional supplies, tradesman being unaware of full works required to be completed. All of the above has resulted in many delays and frustration for both us and the tennants.

The installer that treated us best.
Solar4Life did a fantastic job on what was by all accounts a difficult and time consuming job. We have a three storey townhouse that required some intricate wiring, as well as pigeon proofing. They installed everything for a reasonable price and really took the time to answer all of our questions.They helped us troubleshoot some small issues we had and were very responsive with their after sales support.
We got six quotes, and were initially going to go with ECG Electrical. However ECG treated us as an inconvenience, while Solar4Life were quick to answer any and all inquires we had.
Tai, Suchita, Nathan, Jimmy, and Rhys from Solar4Life were all fantastic to deal with and displayed the utmost professionalism.
We've already recommended Solar4Life to some friends that are interested in their own solar and battery system.

Patience for a 'different' design, working through problems, good install, good customer comms
We wanted to design a system around the existing on our new (to us) home in Canberra. My priorities were positive environmental impact, maximising system size for available roof and of course low payback period.Out of the 5 companies we talked to, Solar4Life was the only one that respected our desire to keep the existing (and perfectly working) system and work around it. They even upsized the inverter for us - as we wanted to design in future proofing.
Solar4Life were really lovely to work with - polite, helpful, and got the job done despite lockdown challenges - from sales with Lachlan (who put up with many, many questions from me and worked to get the system we wanted) and also both the install team and Jimmy the electrician. The Solar4LIfe team did their best to work around lockdown constraints, and were very conscious about being COVID safe when in and around our home.
A big thanks from myself and my wife on the successful install.
In the first week, the overall systems (including the old system who's output we can now monitor) is generally performing between 10-15% above the projected.
Looking forward to reporting back in a few months.

Fast and efficient
Well presented quote, but flexible to change in their suggested panel location.Some room for negotiation price.
Easy and polite to deal with.
Grid connection undertaken after the install without delay.
There remains an issue of my having to put in WiFi in order for SMA to communicate with the inverter. This arises from my location in the semi-bush without WiFi connection.

Good Products and Service
When we were searching for solar we specifically contacted local retailers for quotes, we got 4-6 quotes and the Solar4life quote was not the cheapest quote and certainly not the most expensive quote. They offered the best value quote for sale and after-sale support arrangements.For us, the after-sale service support capability was more important, as we heard lots of horror stories of online retailers offering cheap prices and post-install don't provide any warranty support. Solar4life has a good range of options and a good reputation for after-sale support, therefore, we decided to buy from them.
Post-installation we had a technical issue a week after the installation, where the panels stopped and we contacted Solar4Life for support and the next day their technicians were on-site to fix the fault. We are happy with their service and after-sale support.

I had little experience with buying a Solar pannel and felt completely lost and overwhelmed when I made the decision to buy. This company is absolutely appalling STAY CLEAR
Stay well clear of this company. They do not deliver what they say, they do not monitor the systems to ensure things are working correctly. The only reason that the installation is so good is cause it was done by a subcontractor.Unless you want continuously ongoing issues do not use this company! Take note that they have removed numerous reviews as they don't like the truth.

Keeping the heavy demand in mind, we do use quality subcontractors for a few jobs, however, we ensure that all regulations are followed in doing so.
Our team has always responded to your queries over the last year (ever since the system was installed back in 2020) and has tried in their best capabilities to resolve all (or any) issues that have come up with the system or any other aspect of the installation, which is why it is upsetting to read this.
Please be rest assured that if there is any outstanding or ongoing issue which has remained unresolved up to your satisfaction, our team will endeavour to resolve it at the earliest.
After your phone call we contacted solaredge and they opened a case and their engineers are looking into the system to figure out the issue. We forwarded you all the emails which the solaredge technical support sent us.
We will be following their instructions to resolve the issue.

Happy with the system, problems with the phone app
Questions during the quoting process were handled promptly. Happy with the install, the installers kept the site tidy and cleaned up well. Connection to the grid was smooth. No assistance provided with smart phone monitoring app on connection to the grid, instructions provided with the Fronius paperwork were rudimentary and insufficient. System appears to be working well but currently unable to monitor on the phone.13 months later we asked Steven: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Yes. On track for payback in a little over 3 years. This is roughly in line with my calculations, the quote was a little more optimistic at around 2.3 years as it factored in an unrealistically high feed-in tariff and an uncapped grid feed-in which would have allowed export of up to 15kw/h (system max) rather than the 9kw/h cap imposed by the energy retailer. Despite the capped kw/h grid feed-in, the power generation by the system was still over 96% of what the quote indicated.Solar4Life were a little slow in getting the relevant paperwork to the energy retailer so that we could get the feed in tariff, we lost about 2 months of feed in tariff before that was finally sorted out.
Overall, very happy with the investment in our system.

Fabulous Local Solar Company
Solar4Life is a fantastic local solar company with staff that provide exceptional professional, honest service from quote to final install. I would recommend them to anyone serious about purchasing a solar system.Tai provided me with a detailed quote with a full explanation of the various product differences and performance - these guys sold me a system that was suitable for the position of roof (huge, north facing with full sun) and suitable for my current and future consumption needs. They did not try and sell me products I did not need. They were also super competitive with their pricing.
Suchita was wonderful in keeping me informed of the solar installation and answering all my weird and wonderful questions (of which there were plenty). She even helped sort me out when my energy provider gave me incorrect advice.
Timmy and the installation team was wonderful - prompt, polite, covid safe, provided answers to all my questions, cleaned up after themselves and provided a few useful tips so I could get the most out of my new system.
Anil was great and came promptly the day after instal to go through the wifi with me.
All in all it was a very seamless process. And connection to the grid was organised for me too. Wonderful! Thank you Solar4Life.

Excellent Service Go to Whoa
We had a quote from Solar4Life within hours of submitting a request to SolarQuotes. It was quite a bit cheaper than two other quotes but my limited research indicated that quality components would be installed. I had excellent communication with the company and was kept appraised of the installation timeline throughout the process.The panel installation team was very efficient and took around six hours. The sparky Nathan was called away to an urgent repair job late in the day but he was back first thing the next morning to finish commissioning the system (in the rain I might add). His workmanship was first rate (see photo of inverter). Our energy supplier installed the smart meter about a week after the system was commissioned.
Someone from the company visited us the day after commissioning and helped me to set up the WiFi and the Solis app.
In short - very happy Kev.

System for future needs
Sales/ quoting was goodInstallation timing was a bit uncertain and then when they turned up was excellent.
Customer service good with grid connection organised and an app for monitoring my production and usage.

A sound and successful Choice
The sales and quoting process was calm and believable without hard sell/exaggeration. Some useful advice on dealing with energy companies was helpful. No other potential suppliers volunteered such information.The panel installation was undertaken in a period of poor weather over two days in a sensible and calm manner. A number of tiles were cracked an\d we tracked down replacements which the company paid for. Electrical cables, switchboard modification and inverter were installed without any fuss and grid connection organized. People arrived on time as planned and left every thing clean and tidy.
All the team - panel installers, electricians and engineers, together with the business manager and the operations manager were cheerful, helpful, polite and efficient.
A small leak occurred after heavy rain and the company responded quickly. Whilst a cracked tile could not be found filler was placed in the area and that seems to have fixed the matter. Regardless Solar4life operations are on standby to revisit should the leak reappear.
Our first bill has appeared and is a pittance.
The government inspector checked and signed off on the system last Friday 4 June.
