My consultant is Mark Bainbridge. He answered my questions patiently and generated different Daily Energy Output report for me to consider the plan and how many panels to install.

Spot On Solar were spot on.
Spot On Solar were not one of our three Solarquote companies but they were one of a family members Solarquote recommendations. We also checked them out with the Clean Energy Council. We wanted either micro-inverters or optimisers due to some shading issues and that was a very confusing and time consuming part of our research, finally going with optimisers through Lotus Energy (part of the Spot On Solar group). Sean from Spot On came out for an on-site quote, was a very good communicator and I could ring him at any time. Our system is 6.6 Kw with 20 x Seraphim Blade optimised panels and a Solar Edge inverter. The total price was $6588. The install date was about 6 weeks after the deposit went in and there were no issues.19 August 2020

Very good.
We got all our info from solar quotes (awesome site)then went through a lot of quotes through different companies
chose spot on solar because.
sales and quoting were professional and pressure free.
suggested a few changes that turned out to be a very good choices.
communication was excellent .with a clear no B/S contract.
install team were professional ,polite and punctual.
the house is 2 levels limited access but the blokes just got stuck in and got the job done .
system is new so we will have to wait and see how it goes .

Great System
Sales were good but once we paid the deposit we had a few communication issues.Installation was on time and efficiently done. The electrical side is well done but the framing is a little rough (ends of the mounting frames are roughly cut).
Communication issues continued once installation was complete but we got through it.
Grid connection is all sorted, we have all our documentation and we are getting paid for our excess generation.
8 months later we asked Paul: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Yes - we turned an spring bill from >$300 to a $16 credit and a summer bill of >$600 into a <$200 bill. Love It!

Yes. Very pleased with the solar set up but i was a little disappointed with the aesthetics comparing with others. Unfortunately the timber underneath the roof helps determine where the panels are laid......overall very satisfied.02 March 2020

Difficult to rate quality as it has only been in operation for 10 days.8 months later we asked Peter: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Yes all good o date. However a word of warning to Origin Energy customers. They are very difficult to deal with and slow to arrange updating meter box. This can result in excessive power usage charges when Origin use an 'estimated meter reading'. Their 'estimated' meter readings are outrageously excessive. When these meter readings were questioned Origin were less than helpful and failed to return calls or respond to emails.28 February 2020
Professional and great value.
After a very competitive price and great system recommendations we decided to go with Spot on Solar. Its one of those decisions that we will never regret. The install went well and had no impact on us and all was left tidy. The system works a treat and performs even better than our expectations. Spot on got all the grid work done in time and it was up and running without delay. Subsequent to installation (due to it being an older house ) we needed some advice from them. They were out here in virtually no time and helped us way beyond expectations. Big thanks to Stuart and the team. I cannot recommend them highly enough.Panel rating: 5/5

Very neat install
The salesman was very helpful, he knew the solar game very well, he was easy to talk to and answered all my questions regarding to solar. There was some hold up with supplying the equipment, but once they arrived to do install, they proceeded with tradesman quality. They were both polite and tidy, leaving no rubbish behind. They keep me informed of progress throughout the day and showed me photos of roof and panels so I could see just how neat the install was. I already had a smaller solar system connected to the grid so the new system was easily connected in parallel with it. All in all I would have no hesitation in recommending 'Spot on Solar'24 February 2020

Spot on Solar was very adaptable with the arrangement of the PV panels on the available roof space, and they were happy to listen and accommodate changes, right up to the last minute on both the price and capacity of the final system. The team confirmed an installation date, and they confirmed the time the night before the installation, which was on the agreed date. Overall a positive pain free experience.8 months later we asked Julian: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Not all panels face north, we have 14 facing north (at 6 deg) and 6 facing west (at 34 deg inclination). This means total gain is never as high as rated 6.3 kW generation, but western facing panels mean longer generating capacity with later westerly sun. On average, system returns 98% of claimed daily power generation (range is 85.8% to 134%). First 'real' quarterly bill (Qtr 4 2019) was $3.09c, which is outstanding (normally around $420/qtr). A quieter inverter would be a bonus.

Professionally installed system
Mark from Spot on Solar listened to what I wanted and was able to match exactly that. The installation works perfectly in with the other two previously installed systems. Process was pain free and the service second to none.Thanks again to mark and the spot on team

Competitive quotes and timely delivery.
The sales person was also an installer so was able to answer our questions.The workman however, failed to remove ‘bits and pieces’ from the gutters that my husband removed.

Having received three quotes, one supplier just quoted a price. Another wanted to push their solution. Spoton Solar listened to what my needs were and, we worked the solution out together. The Salesperson came out to our home, we discussed needs etc and, we chose to go with LG Neon R panels as they are the latest technology from LG. Whilst we are still at the lowest arc of the sun and our panels face west, the results so far are very pleasing. It is great to see what power we are producing and, it has made us think twice about what appliances we use when and for how long, in order to maximize using the power we are generating and not importing from the grid.
Everyone at Spoton Solar has been great to deal with. The installation guys left our premises spotless, other than the panels on the roof you'd hardly known they had been here.
Thanks Finn for the insights and research material you provided, it certainly made our job easier.

Little bit slow on sending out feed in tariff information as promised, however they were great to deal with and very efficient in the installation process. Will wait and see what the first electricity bill is to see whether this system is fantastic or not. Too early to really comment on that. Would recommend this company.

Very positive experience.
Based on the advice and ratings provided on the Solar Quotes web site I selected the panels and inverter I wanted and the company was happy to quote on these and suggest improvements.The installation went very quickly and smoothly with the system installed in half a day.
I was very impressed that after the installation was completed the company sent out their Quality Inspector who picked a couple of minor issues which were rectified by the installers a couple of days later
