Andrew was always available, helpful and knowledgable. They're a small operation so the installation didn't happen as quickly as I wanted, but aside from that they were great.

My supplier was paid on installation of the main system but has yet to come back and install the upgraded power meter for connection to the grid. As I paid in full, there is little incentive for them to chase up ACTEWAGL and ACTPLA to get my system completed so I can start saving money. I would suggest a partial payment (maybe 80%) until the system is completed and working. My supplier seems proactive in getting the job done but there are no firm dates supplied (relies also on ACTEWAGL and ACTPLA).

Mark Group were the first to come round and sell their system. Good, except that selling was the name of the game, rather disconcerting when the rep says "Get back to me if you have a better offer"; we did, and the price dropped $400. Makes one wonder what the actual bottom line is.
Todae was at a disadvantage coz' they are 300km away from us. And their quote had several exclusions which would have added several hundred dollars to the quote.
HTS did a professional inspection, discussed options and was absolutely honest in describing the pros and cons of different systems. We are happy with our choice.

I chose HTS Solar Pty Ltd because they told me the Bosh Solar panels were better than Canadian Solar Panels which were the type that SolarHub use. How much better they are I don't know. Both companies use SMA inverter which I am told are very good.
Originally, I was told that some panels were going to be mounted on the south face of the roof and would be tilted so that they effectively would be North facing. After mounting the brackets I was told that this could not be done due to new regulations so they have mounted the panels on my garage on the east face. They did this with an increase of inverter size to 4.5Kw and 2 extra panels at no extra cost. The cost was just over $10,000.
The system is not connected yet. I am waiting for the ACTEW to approve the installation and the switchboard to be upgraded. The upgrade has been included in the original quote. For that reason I have held back $1000. I hope the installation will be up and running early in the new year.

Very professional and answered all of my questions coming up with different options for me to consider.Gave me an address so that I could view an installation. NOT a pushy salesman but a person with excellent technical knowledge who came up with a new type of panel which is better suited to a roof with some shade issues. I later found this type of panel mentioned in the Magazine called "Green'.
Only drawback has been two re-schedules of the installation but these appear to be a supplier issue.

Andrew from HTS Solar was fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable. Fantastic professional service. High quality tradespeople.
I would recommend him to anyone. My second choice would have been Mark Group. But Andrew stood out well about the rest of them. Thank you.

The installers arrived exactly when he said they would, the work was carried out on time and they contacted me when agreed.
All in all we were very satisfied with the advice and service we received from Andrew and his team. We have recommended then to others.
