As yet we have not had the system installed but let me advise other interested people due to the Federal Governments miss management of the REC's etc the company had to come back and discuss further costing issues. We have to pay an additional 20% increase in the cost of the PV system although if we wait until the new financial year the costs would have increased by as much as 50%. The company manager rang me personally so I am not the only customer affected and I suspect this issue has had a flow on affect right across the industry. Apparently there have been more than 10,000 cancellations of PV systems in the first couple of weeks since the governments decision to flood the market with REC's. Again, this was not the companies fault, the fault lies with the poor financial and management decision made by the Federal Government. I wrote to Bob Brown and have not heard back at the time of writing this. The Federal Government continues to make poor decisions that really hit the solar industry.
