About UE Solar
UE Solar Co. Ltd. was a Chinese company founded in late 2007.
The firm was established in Changzhou Wujin High-tech park and in its heyday around 2013 had a manufacturing capacity of 300MW solar modules annually.
The firm also set up three subsidiaries: Universal Solar GMBH, UE Solar Electric Co. Ltd. and SonnenPal PV Co. Ltd to carry out design/installation/after-sale services locally and abroad. At one point, the company claimed to have 860 workers.
It appears UE Solar disappeared sometime in 2015 for unknown reasons - not an uncommon situation in the 2010's.
UE Solar Panels In Australia
UE Solar manufactured monocrystalline panels in capacities of 75 Watts (W) to 305 W and polycrystalline modules from 160W to 300W capacities. Both ranges had the prefix of ZHM, but the polycrystalline range had a suffix of P.
There was nothing particularly exciting about the company's panels. Conversion efficiencies, temperature coefficients and other specs were unremarkable for the time.
It's not clear if UE solar panels were ever approved for use in Australia by the Clean Energy Council.
Warranty Details
Both polycrystalline and monocrystalline UE Solar panels in the ZHM ranges were accompanied by a 5 year product warranty and 25-year performance warranty: a minium of 90% nameplate capacity at the 10-year mark, and 80% at 25 years.
