Haier Group Corporation is a Chinese multinational home appliances and consumer electronics company headquartered in Qingdao, Shandong that was founded in 1984.  

Haier has been producing air-conditioners for decades that are designed to operate across a diversity of climates; including Australia's. Haier air conditioners first became available in Australia in July 2009 as the result of a partnership with Seeley International.

Haier manufacturers single/multiple room split system  and whole of home ducted air conditioning solutions

Split Systems

• Quartz Plus: 2.5 kW - 8 kW capacities. COP ratings 3.72 - 4.64. Indoor noise levels range from 19 dBA - 46 dBA. Outdoor noise generally 53 -63 dB(A)
• Quartz: 2.5 kW - 9 kW capacities. COP ratings 3.49 - 4.57. Indoor noise level ranges from 21 - 33 dB(A) Outdoor noise range: 51 - 56 dB(A).
• Pinnacle: 2.5 kW - 9 kW capacities. COP ratings 3.35 - 4.41. Indoor noise level ranges from 21 - 33 dB(A) Outdoor noise range: 47 - 56 dB(A).
• Tempo: 2.5 kW - 9 kW capacities. COP ratings 3.3 - 3.9. Indoor noise level ranges from 29 - 33 dB(A) Outdoor noise range: 51 - 54 dB(A).
• Cooling Only: 2.5 kW - 7 kW capacities. Energy efficiency ratings of 3.3 - 3.72. Indoor noise level ranges from 30 - 31 dB(A) Outdoor noise range: 52 - 53 dB(A).

All these systems use R32 refrigerant in the outdoor unit. Other features vary, but can include (among others) self-clean, turbo cool, dry mode and technology to push air long distances.

Haier's multi room split solution is called Super Match. It consists of Pinnacle head units, or 4-way compact cassettes, or slim ducted indoor units. The Super Match outdoor unit uses R32 refrigerant.

Ducted Systems

Designed for 3 - 6 rooms, Haier's Smart Power ducted system is Wifi enabled, can be voice controlled and smart zone controlled options are available.

Solutions are available as high static ducted (10 kW - 20 kW capacities) or low profile ducted systems (7.1 kW - 14 kW). Both use R32 refrigerant in the outdoor unit/s.

COP ratings range for ducted systems range  from 3.61 - 4.24 depending on model. Indoor noise ranges from 33 - 45 dB(A), and outdoor 52 - 58 dB(A)

Whether it's a split or ducted system, Haier's SmartHQ app enables you to control your air-conditioner from anywhere at anytime. Its systems are also compatible with Google Home and Amazon Alexa.
