About DCS, Solar Batteries

DCS solar batteries review

DCS is an Australian company located in Queensland. It originally assembled its home battery storage systems locally, but they are now manufactured in China.

DCS says its current 15kWh battery system can be "supercharged" at up to 200Amps / 10.2kW and offers a continuous discharge of 250Amps / 12.8kW. Up to 10 of these packs can be connected in parallel without any additional hardware

Apparently the systems can handle some pretty harsh conditions with a IP-67 fully sealed design DCS says is suitable for salty coastal and dusty outback locations. It can tolerate up to 65 degrees C ambient temperatures and is compatible with every 48V inverter system on the market, including Victron, Selectronic, SMA, Outback, SolaX, Sungrow, Goodwe and others.

DCS says it offers an unlimited cycle warranty, guaranteed to be above 80% capacity at the 10yr mark.

Ronald delved into the the DCS battery systems a few years back, but we haven't heard much about them since and the product lineup has changed.

If you have a DCS battery system installed, contribute your opinion on it by leaving a rating and review.
