Dyness Batteries Available In Australia
Dyness's latest home batteries are the PowerBox G2, the Stack100 Pro, and the Cygni all-in-one.
PowerBox G2
The Dyness site states the PowerBox G2 has a nominal capacity of 10.24kWh, but doesn't give its usable capacity, which is 9.7kWh. They say up to 50 can be installed at a site, allowing for more storage than any normal household will ever need. It requires a compatible hybrid inverter. There's a reasonably long list of these, including GoodWe, Schneider, Solis, and Victron. It can be installed outdoors - or at least Dyness describes it as "outdoor capable". It can operate at up to 55 degrees, but can derate and reduce power as it approaches its upper temperature limit.
Stack100 Pro
This is a stackable battery system for homes and businesses that can range from 15kWh all the way up to 921kWh. It requires a compatible hybrid inverter and can potentially be installed outside.
Cygni All-In-One
The Dyness Cygni is an all-in-one battery with a built-in hybrid inverter. This allows rooftop solar panels to be directly connected to it, so the panels won't need a separate solar inverter. It has stackable modules and can range from 7.3 to 43.8kWh. It can be installed outside and has an operating temperature range from 0 to 50 degrees. Like basically all batteries, it can derate and reduce power as it approaches its upper limit.
Warranty Information
Dyness warranties are available on their website. In general, the warranties are for 10 years and promise they'll retain a minimum of 70% of their original capacity. There are also throughput limits that will cause the warranty to end once the amount of stored energy it has provided meets a set amount. But as these allow around one full cycle or more per day, in normal use, the warranty will last a full 10 years.

Due to instal location being not appropriate for modular battery (that sits on top of each other), I had specific requirement for the battery to be installed on wall and there aren't many options around for that purpose.
The installer was very thorough in explaining how the battery system would work during the blackout - I chose to backup only 2 circuits as that's all we need for rare blackouts we get.
Overall really happy with the installer who also installed 10kw solar system along with the Dyness batteries at a very competitve price.
