LAVO is one of those companies that doesn't have an "about" page, which is pretty disappointing when you want to learn about a firm. No phone number is also disappointing for a company that's selling pricey products.
What we can tell you is LAVO is an Australian company whose main claim to fame was developing a hydrogen storage system in collaboration with the University of New South Wales. SolarQuotes' Ronald Brakels wrote an in-depth review of LAVO's hydrogen battery system back in 2020. LAVO S2 AIO (AIO-10KWH1P2S–CE)
LAVO's S2 AIO is an all-in-one system with a useable storage capacity of 9.7 kWh battery and a 5 kW single-phase hybrid inverter. Based on lithium-ion phosphate chemistry and cells from CATL, this is a modular battery — but there's no information on how much capacity it can be expanded to.
The S2 provides backup capability and can charge from the grid.
The AIO-10KWH1P2S–CE has dimensions of 730 × 203 × 1270 mm and weighs 122 kg. With an IP65 rating, this battery can be installed outdoors or indoors. It has an operating temperature range of -10°C~ +50°C, with derating occurring above 45°C.
Warranty Details
LAVO offers a 10-year warranty, but doesn't provide details of minimum battery capacity at the end of that time or minimum throughput in its warranty document.
