Given the similarities in equipment, it's not surprising the firm also moved into hot water heat pumps.

Gree heat pumps for the Australian market are available in 206-litre and 270-litre capacities. The company says these systems were engineered specifically for Australian conditions.

• Noise levels of around 44 dB(A).
