Excellent Service & Knowledgeable Salesperson
The Aussie Sun Solar salesperson was willing to come to my home which is what my wife & I wanted. He was very knowledgeable & able to show us what size system we should go for. He was polite to us and happy to explain anything we asked him. We were very happy with the cash price he offered to us. The installation was done very quickly after the agreement to go ahead (6 days). The installers were willing to place the solar panels on the section of the roof where I wanted them to go. The removal of the old, smaller solar system was done at no extra cost & taken away. There was no mess to clean up after the installation.They organised the grid connection after the install. I did have to do the installing of the smart meter software & connection to the inverter myself. Since they were the first to contact me re having a larger solar system installed, I owed it to them to still meet with my wife & myself after getting other quotes from Solar Quotes recommended installers. I am so pleased that I gave them a chance to present their best offer to my wife & I.8 months later we asked Greg: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Yes, no problems since it was installed & I worked out I am saving about $100 per month using solar energy. I look forward to, in the future, supplying free energy from the sun to a Fully Electric car. I hope to be able to do this in the future when EV's are more affordable, have a longer range & solar batteries are financially viable to install in my home.13 October 2021
Would never recommend in a million years
Very disappointed in my solar. I was sold a 10kw system with 8kw inverter and my first power bill over doubled. I am only getting 1-6kw max and design I was sold couldn’t be installed the way it was sold to me.Sales rep’s first words when he came to my house was “no cost solar” he clearly didn’t bother to ask what energy company I was with nor go over my bills and rates etc and is ignoring my calls and I have had to lodge a complaint with the clean energy council. I don’t like giving negative reviews but I also don’t like paying over $11000 for a system that isn’t performing the way it was sold to me. Can’t fault the installers which was a seperate company. They were great.
** Update. I was contacted by a man from the company today who was not interested in anything other my changing my review as my solar system “is working sufficiently” they were very aggressive and when I stated I would not be changing my review because I was rating the company and not the product, he was irate and started the next sentence with “listen to me very carefully” needless to say, it didn’t end well.
Pathetic
Feel scammed! Paid deposit and yet no panels and no one does answer the phone!
