Michael's Ablerex Electronics Inverters Review & Verdict
Michael Bloch covers the latest developments in home electrification for SolarQuotes.
While Taiwan's Ablerex Electronics had Clean Energy Council approved single and three-phase inverters available in Australia in the mid-2010's, none are listed in 2025 - and haven't been CEC approved for use here for some years.
Ablerex Electronics Inverters: Pros & Cons

Company Info
Ablerex Electronics produced its first solar inverters in 2005. But as to what the company has been up to in recent years isn't clear as its history and milestones page was last updated in 2012 and the last news item published in 2017. However, the company still appears to be operating today, or at least the Ablerex website is. Maybe they are just really busy, but a lack of updates doesn't inspire confidence.
Ablerex Solar Inverters In Australia
Single phase Ablerex inverters supplied into Australia for residential installation were from the Enersolis (ES) range in capacities from 2kW to 5kW. The company also supplied three-phase inverters in the 6kW to 10kW output capacity range.
The ES single-phase series offered up to 96% conversion efficiency, while the 3-phase inverters had efficiencies up to 97.5%. The 2kW and 3kW Enersolis units had a single MPPT, whereas the larger devices boasted two.
The single-phase ES2200 and ES3300 measured 455 x 430 x 170mm and weighed 20kg. The ES4200 and ES5000 were 455 x 510 x 170mm and 25 kilograms. The three-phase ES6000, ES8000 and ES10000 were quite chunky inverters, measuring 595 x 451 x 247mm and weighing a hefty 41kg.
Operating temperature ranges for the single-phase Enersolis inverters was -25 °C ~ +50 °C, while the three-phase units had a wider operating temperature range: -20 °C ~ +60 °C. The ingress rating for all Ablerex Enersolis inverters was IP65.
Warranty Details
Warranty information for the Ablerex Enersolis range was difficult to locate. Actually, we couldn't find it. It's not uncommon to have to dig around to find this information on manufacturer websites, but what appears to be the total absence of warranty detail is disappointing.
If you have an Ablerex Electronics inverter, check any documentation you have to determine its warranty. If that doesn't turn anything up, try contacting the installer, or the Australian importer (whoever that was) and failing that, Ablerex HQ in Taiwan.
