Company Info
Noark is a wholly-owned subsidiary of the Chint Group, a huge Chinese company that has other solar brands such as Astronergy in its portfolio. Noark had its start in Australia back in 2010, initially with DC circuit breakers for rooftop solar. More products were to follow, including string and hybrid inverters.
Noark Inverters In Australia
Australian customers can choose from CEC-approved single-phase string inverters, and single- and three-phase hybrid inverters.
Noark Single-Phase Ex9N-DG Inverters
The Noark Ex9N-DG series consists of single-phase solar inverters available in output capacities of 3.6 kW to 6 kW. All offer dual MPPTs, a low startup voltage of 80 V, and boast a surge rating of 200% of rated power for 10 seconds. The Ex9N-DG line provides conversion efficiencies of up to 97.5%.
Measuring 330W x 323H x 190D mm, these inverters weight just 10kg and are IP65 rated, meaning they can be installed indoors or outside. The devices have an operating temperature range of -40°C ~ 60°C.
Noark Ex9N-DH Hybrid Inverters
Noark's single-phase Ex9N-DH hybrid inverters are available in capacities from 3 kW to 8 kW. Offering 97.6 % conversion efficiency and a surge rating of 200% of rated power for 10 seconds., the units feature a colour LCD touch screen and offer 6 time-of-use settings for battery charging/discharging. 24/7 monitoring is provided via the myNoark energy management system.
In the 3 kW - 6 kW range, the inverters measure 330W x 433H x 238D mm and weigh 14 - 15 kg. The 3 kW - 5 kW models use convection cooling, while the 6 kW model is fan-cooled. The 7.6 kW and 8 kW models have the same features, are fan-cooled, measure 330W x 580H x 232D mm and weigh a much heftier 24 kg. All are IP65 rated and have an operating temperature range of -40°C ~ 60°C.
The Noark three-phase Ex9N-DH hybrid inverters come in 5 kW to 12 kW capacities. They have all of the features mentioned above, plus support 100% unbalanced output up to 50% of rated power.
Measuring 422W x 702H x 281D mm, these inverters weigh 33.6 kg, feature 'Smart Cooling', are IP65 rated and have an operating temperature range of -40°C ~ 60°C.
Noark says its hybrid inverters are compatible with a range of selected batteries from various brands; among them: Pylontech, BYD, DEYE, Dyness, PowerPlus, XESS, GenZ and Zenaji, and will support multiple batteries in parallel.
Warranty Details
Noark offers a 10 year warranty for its inverters. But note that the first five years of warranty covers all parts, while the second five years covers all parts excluding the LCD and fan (where present). For the Noark Datalogger used with the firm's inverters, the warranty is 2 years.
