Company Info

The company’s headquarters is located in Shenzhen. Sinexcel has R&D centers in Shenzhen, Xi'an, and manufacturing bases in Huizhou and Suzhou.

As well as string, hybrid and battery inverters, the company also produces EV chargers, battery systems, DC/DC converters, UPS devices and power factor correction systems.

Sinexcel Inverters In Australia

Early Sinexcel solar inverter models that were approved for residential use in Australia were the:

• Rainbow 3000TL (3 kW)
• Rainbow 4200TL (4.2 kW)
• Rainbow 4600TL (4.6 kW)
• Rainbow 5000TL (5 kW)

The Clean Energy Council listings for these inverters expired in 2017.

As at late June 2025, CEC-listed devices from Sinexcel are all three-phase battery/hybrid inverters, and in capacities above what would be used for home installations.

Warranty Information

We don't have warranty details for the Rainbow series of Sinexcel Rainbow inverters, but usually devices of the time out of China were accompanied by 5 year warranties. But in case it was longer (the company's more recent models have 10 years), it might be worth contacting your installer if your inverter is having problems to determine warranty length, or even Sinexcel headquarters in China.
