Wuxi SLD Power Technology (also known simply as SLD) was a Chinese solar inverter manufacturer established at the end of 2010.
Company Info
Wuxi SLD Power Technology was a division of Jiangyin Huaxin Electrical Equipment Co. SLD’s production lines and commercial offices were based in China (Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province) and the company didn't have a local presence here in Australia.
SLD didn't last long - it looks like it wound up operations sometime in 2014.
Wuxi SLD Power Technology Inverters In Australia
The company offered SolaCasa series grid-connect solar inverters approved for use in Australia with power capacities spanning from 2 kW to 5 kW. SLD also produced off-grid inverters that had a maximum capacity of 5.2 kW.
Added to string inverters were SLD microinverters, but they were never approved for use here.
Warranty Info
The warranty provided with SLD inverters was 5 years, which means any inverters still operating in Australia are no longer covered.
