Michael's Auria Solar Panels Review & Verdict
Michael Bloch covers the latest developments in home electrification for SolarQuotes.
This is a blast from the past — Auria didn't last long in Australia or generally speaking. We doubt many of their thin-film solar panels were installed here.

About Auria Solar
Auria Solar was a module manufacturer based in Taiwan, but ceased to exist some years ago.
Company Info
As the company disappeared way back (around 2013/14 so far as we can tell), there's not much information out on the web about the firm these days. However, it was headquartered in Tainan and specialised in producing amorphous silicon thin film modules.
Auria Solar Panels In Australia
Among the modules available here were the M120000, which was a 120W thin film panel. It measured 1300 mm x 1100 mm, with a depth of just 7mm. But it was a hefty beast, weighing in at 23 kilograms. This is around the weight of 460 Watt crystalline silicon solar panels widely available today.
Warranty Details
It looks like the product warranty on these panels was five years and the performance warranty was 20 years - with 80% of nameplate capacity guaranteed at year 20. That being the case, modules installed in Australia would still be under the performance warranty.
But unless your installer is still around, there's little chance of any recourse if your panels are having performance issues. It's time to ditch those dated/inefficient modules and choose another solar panel brand. You'll be able to fit far more capacity on your rooftop these days!
