Company Info
Beijing Zhongkexin Electronic Equipment Co., Ltd. was founded in Tongzhou, Beijing in June 2003 and grew to have more than 400 employees. The firm manufactured equipment such as ion implanters and rapid annealing furnaces, as well as being engaged in the production of solar cells and components.
Beijing Zhongkexin Electronic Equipment entered solar photovoltaics in 2006 and built a 240MW multi-crystalline silicon solar cell production line in 2011. In 2014, it constructed a 150MW fully automated solar panel production line and completed a 15MW grid-connected power generation demonstration project in Beijing Opto-Mechatronics Industrial Park.
The company was also known as BeiJing Semicore ZKX Electronics Equipment Co.,Ltd., integrating the 48th research institute of China Electronics Technology Group Corporation (CETGC).
It's not clear exactly when the company kicked the bucket, but we believe it was sometime after 2016.
Beijing Zhongkexin Solar Panels In Australia
At one point, there were 19 panel models approved for use in Australia from the ZKX series, with capacities ranging from 175 Watts to 280 Watts. These were monocrystalline (noted as 'D' in the model numbers) and polycrystalline ('P') modules. The CEC listings for all these panels expired in 2014.
Warranty Details
ZKX series solar panels had a 10-year product warranty and a 25 performance warranty. There may be some of these modules installed in Australia still covered by the latter, but that would involve contacting the local supplier/installer if they are still around as that party shares warranty responsibility.
