Powercom is a Taiwanese company established in 1987. It is a privately owned company but it went public in the early 2000s.

Powercom is a completely vertical integrated manufacturer, meaning that it designs, produces, sells and provides services related to a very wide range of solar products including polycrystalline solar panels (with a power between 117 and 260 Wp), and UPS systems dedicated to residential, commercial and industrial users.

This means that the company can supply products ranging from small appliances like minicomputers, PCs, POS systems and cash registers to vast and complex communication structures like office telecommunication equipment and worldwide communication networks. Furthermore, Powercom supplies a full set of power management software for most of the OSs as well as for solar and UPS monitoring systems.

Their main manufacturing plants are located in Taiwan, but international commercial branches and offices are located in China, the US, Japan, Russia and Korea; however, for the moment, the company doesn’t have any actual physical presence here in Australia.
