Company Info

SunLink PV has over 10 GW of installed capacity in more than 60 countries. 2024 saw a production spike for the company, with it achieving 5GW - as much in one year as it had produced for its entire history prior. Its primary manufacturing facilities are located in Zhangjiagang.

These days the company is focused on manufacturing panels with N-Type solar cells.

SunLink Panels In Australia

When SunLink solar panels were available here in the early 2000's and 2010's, they were from the SL range in capacities ranging from 170 watts to 295 watts. These were monocrystalline solar panels with 60 or 72 cells, with conversion efficiencies up to 16%. In the larger capacities, the panels measured 1956 x 992 x 45 mm and weighed a very hefty 27 kilograms.

Warranty Details

Earlier modules, such as those available in Australia, were accompanied by a 10-year product warranty and 25-year performance warranty. These days, SunLink PV offers 15 years product warranty for workmanship and materials and generally 25 years linear output (performance) warranty; although its glass-glass modules have 30 years’ linear output warranty.

But given the amount of time that has elapsed since SunLink PV gear was available here, it's unlikely any are still covered by the product warranty; although performance warranty remains. To make a claim, first try contacting the company that installed your panels for next steps before attempting to contact SunLink.
