DCS stands for "Deep Cycle Systems". The company was called Deep Cycle Systems Pty Ltd, but the company behind the DCS website now appears to be Deep Cycle Systems Aus Pty Ltd. This seems to be a change of corporate identity.

DCS PV Series Home Battery

In March 2020, the Canberra Battery Test Centre, which is no longer in operation, began testing a DCS battery system. Most battery systems they tested performed badly, and the DCS battery was one of them. Our final report on the testing stated:

"DCS PV 10.0W:  Only supplied around 75% as much energy as it should have per cycle. Disastrous capacity loss with ~57% remaining after the equivalent of 3 years of daily cycling."

DCS Legal Action

DCS is famous for bringing a defamation case against Stefan Fischer. The claim was dismissed, and DCS was required to pay the plaintiff's costs. You can see the judgment here.

Possible Corporate Identity Change

As mentioned earlier, the corporate identity behind the DCS site appears to have changed from Deep Cycle Systems Pty Ltd to Deep Cycle Systems Aus Pty Ltd. Unfortunately, I'm not a lawyer, and don't know what effect this change may have on DCS warranties or other considerations.
