Wrong CT connection caused unnecessary high electricity bill and they have refused to pay

I had a Ruixu 48kWh battery installed by Battery Plant, and due to an incorrect CT connection during installation, I incurred an additional electricity cost of around $400.
I was the one who identified the CT connection issue myself. If I had not noticed this, the electricity costs could have been significantly higher. Despite this, the company dismissed the issue as "small money" and "not urgent", which I found unacceptable.
The company has acknowledged that this issue was caused by their installation error. However, despite this, they have refused to compensate for the extra cost.
Although they eventually came back and fixed the CT connection, they acted as if resolving the issue meant there was no longer any problem, disregarding the financial loss I had already incurred.
As a result, I now have lodged a claim with VCAT and waiting for the hearing.
In addition to this, I was very disappointed with how this matter was handled. The staff member I dealt with was unprofessional and rude throughout the process, which made the situation even more frustrating.
I would not recommend this company based on my experience.
