Our new toy
We invested in a 22kw PV system and a 48-kw battery. it was all installed in a couple of days, with 2 callbacks to fix minor problems. So far (only 2 weeks) everything seems to be working. The Sigenergy app is quite good, and we have switched to Amber electric and already have a negative bill. this is very early days, and the politicians are sure to stuff it up somehow. we will just have to wait and see. Basically yes. I am with Amber and so far, I am in credit for about $200. As time goes on and more people invest in batteries, there will probably be fewer periods of price volatility, and I will probably end up with a bill again. The most problematic parts of my system are the Fronius components, which puzzles me as I thought they were of a reasonably high standard.
