100% Australian Solar panel manufacturer and a quality system.
1. Sales and quoting was transparent, helpful and full details provided.2. Installation team were professional, friendly and polite. They worked safely and did quality work.
3. Customer service so far has been good and helped organise the grid connection with Energex.

Good Installation
The service from Solar and Batteries Direct has been very good. The sales consultant Des has been good to deal with, very pleasant. He came to our house and explained things clearly and provided a quote in the time frame expected. We really appreciated that he did not hassle us while we were getting other quotes and making our comparisons and decision. The installation process was very smooth. The installers arrived on time and completed the job in the expected time frame. They communicated with us during the installation so we knew what was happening. The change with our grid connection and meter board has occurred as expected. I recommend Des and Solar and Batteries Direct.9 months later we asked Ellen: "Are you happy with the performance of your system so far?"
Yes we are very happy with the system. We've had bills and the first one was about $17 and the last one $4.08 April 2019

Ok service and process
Pros:Sales staff ok, no over the top sales speak and behaviour. Good explanation of options. Quote detail not quite what I am familiar with in my professional experience but average for these type of service companies.
Installation went to time frame, Cleaned up well when finished. Install looks neat and professional. Good rundown of installed system and function of new isolation switches. System linked to WiFi. Pleasant chaps doing the install.
Grid connection had been arranged.
Cons:
Screw up with location of meter box. Was to be relocated to front of house but was installed at rear of house. Pointed out this on contract document to chap doing work (sub-contractor) just after he started but he stated that he had checked with his boss, who checked with solar supplier and he was going to do it as per work order. This is very poor QA!
Now kind of concerned about possible other unknown deviations.
Hopefully the system will pass inspection but supplier has noted that they will do relocation if necessary. I prefer the current location but I am not Energex.
