Chose WA solar power after getting a home visit from the site rep and visiting their workshop. Steve gave me detailed technical advice and supplied/installed 16 glass backed panels (live in the hills where leaf build up can be an issue). Pretty impressed with the down to earth sales approach and professional design method of the system - made several calls to the company system designer and eventually reduced from 24 panels. Probably not the best way of selling as many panels as possible but the best compromise given my roof layout and shading - confident I received some quality panels and inverter.
Keep visiting their premises and Steve still very open about giving advice and follow up. The install was reviewed by CER inspectors and given the thumbs up - a couple of minor adjustments required, but all sorted by Steve and his team.
Good to do business with a professional and local company.

We were pleasantly surprised with how knowledgeable each person we dealt with at WA Solar Power was throughout our experience. The sales consultant was extremely skilled in his presentation with all options out there not just his own. Once we decided to go ahead with purchasing, our design was done by one of the most recognised designers in the industry which made us feel that we were in safe hands. Communication via the office with regards to the process after our purchase enroute to install was first class, we received a call exactly when told we would. When trying to contact the office several times we did have a couple of calls go unanswered, we did get worried for a bit but once our message we left was retrieved they called us back. The installing team used were very friendly, tidied up after there work was complete and didn't leave until we were full bottle on how it all worked. We would highly recommend WA Solar Power to everyone we know, in fact two our friends have already had them out to see them and they have purchased as well. Thanks for the great buying experience guys it was a pleasant transaction.

Steve gave me all the details clearly without all the fake excitement and new best friend routine that the others used. He used plain English, and I can say it's the first time I felt relaxed with a salesman in my home. Highly recommend Steve. The guys putting it up were very direct and not very talkative but they did a good job putting it up. Steve came back on Saturday to show me how to use the computer side of things and to inspect the installers work.. The whole job was completed in 15 days.
Only negative was the first guy who came around the area door knocking, walked over my flower bed as he came to the door.

We were initially surprised when a lady turned up for our consultation. She spent two hours with us designing a system to suit our needs. We found her to be very knowledgeable and very professional. We consider ourselves to be very well educated on Solar and how to get the most out of our system. Our consultant was very friendly and down to earth, not your usual salesman type. We've had our system up and running for 3 months now and we are loving it. The reduction in our power bill has exceeded our expectations and it's not even summer yet!! We were a bit hesitant on spending a higher price for a system, but now I'm really glad we did. Our panels look amazing and the system is working great. Good job guys!

We went with this system because we were told that we would be able to move it to a new house easily and it could be taken off the grid when batteries become more affordable. We were told the 2.5 kW system would be sufficient even though we said to the sales man we would need a 3.5 kW system which we would have not considered buying since they were so expensive. The salesman assured us the smaller system would make a big difference in reducing our power bill and pay for itself. Since having the panels up, our power bills have not reduced at all and we have complained to WA solar power and they do not respond to our letters and do not do what they say they will on the phone. I would never deal with this company again.

We got onto Solarquotes only after signing up with WA Solar.
The salesman was very slick, was onsite and said we could have what we asked for i.e. installation of 10 Jinko panels (2.6kw) on the North facing garage roof.
The design they sent by email was completely different: on the house roof East facing. Their design was based on aerial photos, not the info supplied by the salesman. By now we had already removed a shaded tree from garage area at a cost of $400!
We complained, asked for another site visit which we never got. Did consider pulling out of contract but outside cooling off period and penalties applied. We settled for a compromise: 6 panels on garage North side, 4 on tilt frames South side. By now we had been to Solarquotes and did get the Bunbury guy to give a third party opinion on the installation logistics ($100). He said no problem to do what we asked for originally and we now regret not going with him for the installation. When the installers arrived we told them of our complaints. They looked at the site and said "Yes we can put all 10 on the North side" ! So we did end up getting what we asked for but regret not getting onto Solarquotes earlier.

26 Panels and system installed in a day. Cleaned up well after. Some panels were installed to close to the gutter so rain water missed the gutter but this was rectified without any fuss the moment I told them of the problem.

Very good service and communication before, during and after instalation.
The sales person was very knowledgeable and helpful and we could negotiate with him.The installation was first class, we were constantly kept informed of the process, the installers were very punctual, helpful and informative. At the end there was no mess to clean up even though I said would do it, they said it was their job to leave the area clean and tidy.
They did everything and kept us in contact all the way through even contacting us to make sure we were happy with the job.
I could not recommend this company highly enough. Original ratings
