About China Aviation Power Control
China Aviation Power Control was also known by another name: Jiangsu AVIC Power Control Co., Ltd. The company originally focused on gas turbine power control engineering, including system integration and related software/hardware development; but then obviously also expanded into solar inverter production.
It looks like the firm was operating from around 2007 until 2011/12.
The only inverter from this company that was available in Australia and approved for use here was the SG-2KST1, which was a single-phase string inverter. Other than the model name and capacity, we don't have any information beyond that except the CEC listing expired in 2015.
Based on the expiry date, and while we don't have warranty details, it's highly unlikely any of these inverters are still covered under warranty in Australia. Given their age, if yours is having issues, it's time to wave it goodbye and select a new inverter. And our advice is to get one from a brand that has an Australian presence.
