GivEnergy, owned by JMHing Power Ltd, was founded in 2016 in Staffordshire, England. The company launched its first hybrid inverter in 2017 and its first battery system in the UK in 2018. GivEnergy has become a major player in the UK's home energy storage sector and has expanded into other countries, including entering the Australian market in 2024.
The company has a factory in Shenzhen, China, through subsidiary Shenzhen GivEnergy Technology Co., Ltd. While GivEnergy officially opened its first UK manufacturing facility in 2024, that plant is primarily manufacturing commercial energy storage systems.

Available in multiple variants, low or high voltage, single- (3.6 kW and 5 kW) or three-phase (6 kW - 11 kW), GivEnergy hybrid inverters offer features including:

Note that the company's hybrid inverters are only recommended for use and compatible with GivEnergy home batteries. While you can install one of these hybrid inverters without a battery to use with your solar system, when the time comes that you want to add a battery, it will need to be from GivEnergy.
Currently (June 2025), the company's LV single-phase hybrid inverters are designed for use with the Giv-Bat, while the HV three-phase hybrids pair with the Giv-Stack.
