Company Information
A Chinese company established in 2011, Thinkpower New Energy specialises in the development and manufacturing of single- and three-phase solar inverters suitable for small and medium-sized applications.
While no longer offering Clean Energy Council approved inverters in Australia, the company is still around. It's currently producing around 200MW of inverter capacity a year - so, still a pretty small player. It's somewhat surprising Thinkpower has managed to survive in China's cut-throat solar inverter manufacturing sector dominated by firms cranking out gigawatts of products each year. Today, Thinkpower manufactures hybrid inverters in the 3-12kW range and standard solar inverters in 1-25kW capacities.
Wuxi Xinqi Power New Energy Technology Inverters In Australia
Among the inverters available here were the T series, which included single-phase inverters with output of 1.5 kW to 3 kW, specifically developed for residential purposes. Products in the S series were more powerful as were the Y series, with the latter offering capacities ranging from 6 kW to 20 kW for more demanding applications.
Warranty Information
When Wuxi Xinqi Power New Energy Technology inverters were available in Australia, they were accompanied by a 5-year warranty that could be extended to 10, 15 or 20 years. That being the case, there may be some units still installed in Australia that have warranty coverage. For those owners if they strike a problem, the best bet is to contact the company that installed the unit. Failing that, try reaching out to Thinkpower using the details above.
