Company Info
United Renewable Energy Co., Ltd. (also known as URE and URECO) was established through the merger of Neo Solar Power Corp., Gintech Energy Corp. and Solartech Energy Corp (all founded in 2005) in October 2018.
URE claimed to be the largest solar panel and system provider in Taiwan and led module shipments in that country in 2018 and 2019.
URE Solar Panels In Australia
As at March 2025, no URE solar panels are listed by Australia's Clean Energy Council. This means the company's panels aren't eligible for Australia's national solar rebate and some state incentive programs. Additionally, new system installations using URE panels are unlikely to get permission to connect to the grid.
When its panels were CEC-listed, among them was the D7P270H7A, a 270 Watt monocrystalline panel. Measuring 1675 x 992 x 35 mm and weighing 19 kilograms, this panel had a module efficiency of 16.3% and a temperature coefficient of Pmax of -0.367 %/°C; which was quite respectable at the time.
Warranty Details
URE solar panels were accompanied by a 12-year product warranty and 25-year performance warranty. This means panels installed in Australia would still be covered by both as at March 2025.'
While the company doesn't have an office here, you can try contacting the firm via the details above - but first try getting in touch with your installer as that firm has warranty responsibility too.
If you're an Australia PV owner with URE solar panels, you can leave a review by clicking the button above and let other Australians know what you think of them.
By the way, checking for CEC status is just one aspect of getting the best solar panels for your home.
