Ultra defensive and shirks any responsibilty for after sales issues.
This contractor installed solar panels on roof of my new house 12 years ago. Recently we noticed mould coming through celing under one of the solar panels. I got my roof installer to recently inspect the roof and found a broken tile where a bracket for securing solar panels was installed. Contacted them and provided him a picture suggesting roof tile may have been damaged at time of installation of the brackets for solar panels. They immediately came out denying any responsibility and claiming the damage could have been through any other (unspecified) reason. The least he could have done was to check with his installation team as they might have failed to report the damage to him. Circumstantial evidence suggests problem was covered with the solar panel. He was simply ultra defensive and no way in his view this could have happened during installation of the solar panels, not his duty of care to investigate and fix. Treated my complaint with uttermost disdain and cut me off during a telephone discussion for simply suggesting I was not interested in his denials and just wanting the problem investigated and fixed. Refer picture below, and be your own judge as to how/when tile was damaged. Poor experience all aorund and based on my personal experience, this contractor does not stand behind his work.

Glenn was knowledgeable and prompt to reply to all my questions via email. The price seemed to be better value than the other companies I sought quotes from. The installation all went well. I'm satisfied.
